The invention relates to an actuator () comprising a housing (), a coil () and an armature () which interacts with a tappet () and a spring, the armature plate () thereof being arranged to lie opposite an armature counterpiece (), and said actuator () comprising at least one magnetostrictively-active component. According to the invention, an actuator () is provided with which large actuating paths can be travelled at high actuating forces. This is achieved by the actuator () additionally being designed to act as a solenoid.

Actuator

The invention relates to a fuel injection device for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising an end () that is located at a distance from the combustion chamber and has at least one electric connection () and at least one return flow connection (). In order to create a fuel injection device () that has a simple design and can be produced cost-effectively, the return flow connection () and the electric connection () are integrated in a common connecting member.

The invention relates to an injector for injecting fuel into combustion chambers of internal combustion engines. According to the invention, a valve seat of a control valve is designed as a flat seat that has a planar valve seat surface. A circumferential edge located on the face of a sleeve of the control valve rests on the planar valve seat surface when the control valve is closed.

Injector for injecting fuel into combustion chambers of internal combustion engines

The present invention relates to a fuel injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a valve piston that is displaceably guided in an injector body in terms of lifting motions, whereby the lifting motion of the valve piston can be controlled by a control valve. The control valve has a valve needle with a guide bore, so that the needle is displaceably guided in the direction of a lifting axis in terms of lifting motions. A guide section integrally formed on an end of a valve piece extends into the guide bore for the displaceable guidance of the valve needle in terms of lifting motions. Along the lifting axis a vertical bore extends through the valve piece into the guide section, such that fuel is able to flow through the bore from a control chamber into an annular chamber introduced between the guide bore and the guide section for controlling the lifting motion of the valve piston. The fuel volume conducted through the vertical bore furthermore flows through at least one outlet restrictor, which is disposed in the region of the transition from the vertical bore into the annular chamber.

An injector, especially for common rail injection systems of Diesel engines, has a nozzle needle, a control piston for actuating the nozzle needle, a valve that actuates the control piston and that is triggered by via an outlet throttle and an inlet throttle, and a hydraulic stop for the control piston, such that the flow from the inlet throttle to the outlet throttle at the narrowest cross section can additionally be throttled. The control piston is embodied conically on its offset top side oriented toward the outlet throttle or the inlet throttle.

Injector, in particular for common rail injection systems of diesel engines

A solenoid valve for controlling an injection valve of an internal combustion engine is provided, including an electromagnet, a movable armature, a control valve member moved with the armature and cooperating with a valve seat for opening and closing a fuel discharge channel of a control pressure chamber of the injection valve, and a sliding piece guiding the armature, which is positioned together with the armature and the control valve member in an armature chamber. For reducing the bounce of the armature, the sliding piece subdivides the armature chamber into a pressure relief chamber connected to a fuel low-pressure connection and an hydraulic damping chamber, into which a fuel discharge channel opens. The damping chamber may be pressure-relieved to a pressure relief chamber via at least one connecting channel provided with a throttle, the speed of the control valve member being lowered during the closing of solenoid valve, before impact on valve seat, by a fuel pressure cushion acting upon the control valve member in the damping chamber.

Electromagnetic valve for controlling an injection valve of an internal combustion engine

A solenoid valve is described, its armature having a part that is slidingly displaceable on the foundation bolt and is movable between two stops of the foundation bolt against the tension force of a restoring spring. When the armature strikes the valve seat of the solenoid valve, the slidingly displaceable part moves further under the influence of its inertial mass on the foundation bolt in the closing direction against the tension force of the restoring spring, until it strikes the second stop of the foundation bolt. The resulting transfer of momentum to the foundation bolt reduces impact of the armature on the valve seat and causes the armature to more quickly reach a defined rest position in which the solenoid valve is closed.

Magnetic valve for controlling an injection valve of an internal combustion engine

A solenoid valve for controlling a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, including an electromagnet, a movable armature featuring an armature plate and an armature pin, as well as a control valve member, which is moved with the armature and cooperates with a valve seat, for opening and closing a fuel discharge passage of a control pressure chamber of the fuel injector, the armature plate being supported on the armature pin, so that it is slidably movable in the closing direction of the control valve member under the action of its inertial mass, against the elastic force of a return spring that acts upon the armature plate; and including a hydraulic damping device which permits damping of a post-oscillation of the armature plate during its dynamic sliding on the armature pin. To facilitate the assembly and reduce a disadvantageous post-oscillation process of the armature plate, it is proposed for the return spring to be braced, with its end facing away from the armature plate, against a supporting piece, which is mounted on and moved with the armature pin and which, at the same time, constitutes a part of the damping device.
