A method for determining an axle load on a vehicle axle of a tractor includes providing a power lift and a payload coupled thereto, driving the power lift by a hydraulic pump, setting a pump pressure of the hydraulic pump as a function of the coupled payload, detecting the pump pressure by a sensor, and determining the axle load as a function of the detected pump pressure from characteristic data which represents a relationship between the pump pressure and the weight of the payload.

Method for determining an axle load of a tractor

A method for operating a hydraulic consumer on an electrically actuated control valve includes providing the valve with an open valve position for establishing a connection between a valve inlet and a pilot line for influencing a pivot angle set on an axial piston pump and a system pressure which is present at the valve inlet and dependent on the pivot angle. Data regarding the current system pressure and the current pivot angle are detected and communicated to a control unit. The method includes determining an incorrect setting of the control valve if the control unit detects that a delivery volume flow of the axial piston pump is smaller than a value to be expected based on valve position, or the control unit detects that the system pressure present at the valve inlet is at a maximum without a delivery volume flow flowing in the direction of the hydraulic consumer.

Method for operating a hydraulic consumer on an electrically actuated control valve

A method for controlling a loading tool includes positioning the loading tool on a lifting device of a machine, receiving a payload by the loading tool from a payload stock during an operating mode, and determining a mass of the payload during the operating mode. The method also includes providing calibration data representative of a ratio between a volume of the payload and a mass of the payload, detecting a volume of the payload during the operating mode, and determining the mass of the payload as a function of the detecting step and the calibration data.

Hydraulic directional control valve

A hydraulic arrangement for braking a trailer comprises a brake line connected between a brake system of a trailer and a trailer brake valve. The trailer brake valve is activated via a first control-pressure line which extends between the brake line and the trailer brake valve and via a second control-pressure line which extends between the trailer brake valve and a control-pressure source and acts in opposition to the pressure imposed on the trailer brake valve by the first control-pressure line. An adjustable pressure-reducing means for controlling the control pressure in the second control-pressure line is arranged in the second control-pressure line. It is proposed to design the control-pressure source as part of a hydraulic control of a brake system of a traction vehicle drawing the trailer and to force the pressure-reducing means mechanically into an open basic position by means of an adjustable prestressing force.
