The invention relates to a metering valve () for a gaseous medium, in particular for a gaseous fuel, comprising a preferably planar valve seat element () having at least one flow-through opening () for the gaseous medium, a closing element () movable in a stroke-like manner and interacting in a sealing manner with the valve seat element () in order to release and close the at least one flow-through opening (), and a corrugated or folding bellows () connected to the closing element () for delimiting a compensation space (), which is connected to a pressure space () via a recess () formed in the closing element () so that the same gas pressure prevails in both spaces () irrespective of the switched position of the metering valve (). According to the invention, the compensation space () is arranged on the side of the closing element () facing the valve seat element () and is delimited in the axial direction by a pressure surface () which is formed on the closing element () or on a component () connected to the closing element (), in particular a flange component.

Metering valve for a gaseous medium

The invention relates to an electromagnetically actuatable gas valve for metering a gaseous fuel into a suction tract of a motor, in particular a gas or diesel gas motor, comprising a valve seat () which is designed as a flat seat and which has multiple annular webs () that are arranged in a concentric manner and are connected via at least one radially running web () in order to delimit circular or semicircular through-flow openings (). The electromagnetically actuatable gas valve further comprises a movable valve plate () which sealingly interacts with the valve seat () and which has multiple annular sealing webs () that are arranged in a concentric manner and can be brought into an overlapping arrangement with the circular or semicircular through-flow openings () of the valve seat (). According to the invention, the rigidity of the valve seat () and/or the valve plate () is substantially constant in the radial direction, the rigidity of the valve seat () being greater than the rigidity of the valve plate (). The invention further relates to a method for increasing the seal of an electromagnetically actuatable gas valve.

A hydraulic drive carries out a method for discretely changing a positional output on the hydraulic drive. At least one displacement cylinder incrementally supplies or discharges the cylinder volume to or from the drive by displacing the cylinder piston element from a starting to an end position depending on at least one input signal. The piston element is repeatedly displaced from starting to end position and back to discretely change the positional output correspondingly to the supplied or discharged displacement volume. The cylinder is hydraulically connected to a pressure medium source supply or return line while displacing the piston element from starting to end position. The changed positional output is restored in a successive step. The cylinder chambers of the displacement cylinder are hydraulically short-circuited by a short-circuit line hydraulically separated from the supply or return line when returning the piston element from the end to the starting position.
