A package of one or more absorbent articles is provided. The package comprises a package material comprising natural fibers. The package comprises a plurality of panels comprising a consumer-facing panel. The package is sealed such that the one or more absorbent articles are enclosed therein. The package material exhibits a HuBa value of greater than about 5.3 hours, according to the HuBa Test. The package is recyclable. The package comprises a vertical side seal having a side seal strength. The side seal strength is greater than about 5.1 N/15 mm and less than about 15 N/15 mm, according to Seal Tensile Strength Test.

Packages for absorbent articles

The present disclosure is directed to a package configured to receive one or more absorbent articles. The package comprises a package material comprising natural fibers. The package comprises a plurality of panels comprising a consumer-facing panel and a back panel having one or more wicket holes in a portion thereof. The package is configured to be sealed such that the one or more absorbent articles are enclosed therein. The back panel comprises a first chamfered side edge and a second chamfered side edge in an area proximate to the one or more wicket holes. The package material comprises a barrier film layer disposed on an inner surface of the package material. The package is recyclable.

Recyclable packages

A package of one or more absorbent articles is described. The package includes a package material having natural fibers and a plurality of panels, including a consumer-facing panel. The package is sealed such that the one or more absorbent articles are enclosed therein. The package material exhibits a water vapor transmission rate under stress conditions 'SCWVTR' in accordance with ASTM F1249, as modified herein, which is about 300 g/(m*day) or less. The package material is recyclable, and wherein each of the one or more absorbent articles includes super absorbent polymer (SAP) in an amount of greater than about 5 grams per article.

Recyclable absorbent article package material

A flexible package being capable and being adapted for accommodating a multiplicity of absorbent articles. The package has a substantially parallelepiped-shape and further comprises a frame. The frame is completely surrounding the top gusset extending upwardly and substantially orthogonally from the top gusset. The flexible package also comprises a handle extending over the top gusset. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing a flexible package.

A package configuration for absorbent articles, such as disposable diapers, training pants and adult incontinence undergarments is disclosed. The package configuration may include one or more pluralities of absorbent articles, each plurality packaged in a flexible package. The one or more flexible packages may be wrapped and further contained by a wrap-around. The wrap-around may have first and second pairs of opposing side panels. Adjacent side panels from the first and second pair may be joined by corner panels. The corner panels may form interior angles with the side panels of from 100&#xb0; to 170&#xb0;. The presence of the angled corner panels may render the wrap-around better able to conform to the shape of the one or more flexible packages, and more resistant to deformation.

Package for absorbent articles

A multi-presentational package for disposable diapers such that the package may be presented in a multi-package form or an individual-package form. One exemplary embodiment of the package may include a plurality of disposable diaper products, a plurality of stabilizers, and a wrapping layer. The multi-presentational package may be marketed as a single unit such that a substantial portion of said plurality of disposable diaper products is visible to the consumer and/or the plurality of disposable diaper products and plurality of stabilizers may be removed from said multi-presentation package and subsequently marketable as multiple units.

The invention refers to a flexible package comprising a plurality of walls including first and second opposing side walls having side seams. At least a first gusset is formed in at least the first side wall, the first gusset comprising an internal panel and an external panel together forming a pocket. At least the first side wall comprises lines of weakness which are at least partially formed in or through the external panel. The lines of weakness are adapted to create an opening in the first side wall.

Flexible package with tearing means

A flexible package for accommodating a multiplicity of articles, wherein the package comprises at least a side wall with an aperture defined by an aperture edge. The aperture provides a structure for gripping and for tearing away a tearaway portion of the side wall, defined by lines of weakness. The tearaway portion is adapted to create an opening in the side wall through which articles may be removed from the package. The package further includes a strap adjacent to an upper edge of the side wall and defined in part by a upper portion of the aperture edge.

Upright-stabilizing packaging for disposable diapers

An easy-open, re-closable package for a plurality of disposable diapers includes a wrapping layer which substantially surrounds the plurality of disposable diapers and a re-closable fastening system. The re-closable fastening system may be joined with the wrapping layer. The re-closable fastening system may have a female fastening portion and a male fastening portion, wherein the female fastening portion and the male fastening portion being releasably engageable. In another exemplary embodiment, the male fastening portion is releasably engageable between the plurality of disposable diapers and the wrapping layer. The re-closable package may also include a removable portion. The removable portion being integrally formed within the re-closable fastening system. The removable portion may include a grip portion. The removable portion may be defined by a first perforation and a second perforation, wherein pulling upon the grip portion results in the tearing along of the perforations so as to open the package.
