A trailer () and a side skirt (), each comprising an integrated arrangement () for reducing air drag, are provided. Each arrangement () comprises means for receiving air () comprising at least one air inlet (), means for ejecting air () comprising at least one air outlet () facing downwards. The means for ejecting air () are arranged along a lower edge () of the trailer cargo housing () and side skirt () respectively. The arrangement also comprises means for conveying air () comprising at least one air duct (). The means for conveying air () extend between the air receiving means () and the air ejecting means (). The arrangement () is configured to produce a screen of air from the lower edge () and downwards during travel. The air screen prevents air, especially side wind, from entering the undercarriage. Especially the arrangement () in the cargo housing () prevents air from entering in the gap between the truck and trailer at the connection () between the truck and trailer, and the arrangement of the side skirt () prevents air from entering in the gap between the side skirt () and the road.

A method for estimating, from a platform, at least one parameter of an intruder. Consecutive frames of image data at different times of the intruder utilizing at least one passive sensor are generated. A direction from the platform to the intruder is determined based on the generated consecutive frames of image data. A time period remaining until a potential collision between the platform and the intruder is estimated. An angular extent of the intruder, as viewed by the passive sensor, is estimated based on the image data. At least one of a first relative location vector to a minimum intruder associated with the intruder or a second relative location vector to a maximum intruder associated with the intruder is estimated. An arrangement for generating input data to a sense-and-avoid system on-board a platform, a computer program, a computer program product and a platform carrying the arrangement are also provided.

Method and arrangement for estimating at least one parameter of an intruder

A method for validating received positional data in vehicle surveillance applications wherein vehicles transmit positional data indicating their own position to surrounding vehicles. A a radio direction finding antenna arrangement of a receiving unit receives a signal carrying positional data indicating an alleged position of a vehicle, transmitted from a radio source. The bearing from the receiving unit to the radio source is estimated utilizing the radio direction finding antenna arrangement and the received signal. The distance between the receiving unit and the radio source is estimated based on the time of flight for a signal travelling there between at known speed. An estimated position of the radio source is calculated based on the estimated bearing and the estimated distance. A deviation value indicating the deviation/coincidence between the alleged position of a vehicle is determined according to the received positional data and the estimated position of the radio source.
