A connector module for a modular plug connector is provided having an overvoltage protection with at least one earth connection. A connector and a modular plug connector having a connector module of the above type is also provided.

The disclosure relates to a modular plug connector which has a plug comprising a plurality of plug modules and has a mating plug comprising a plurality of mating plug modules, in which each plug module forms a plug module pair with a mating plug module, wherein the plug and the mating plug can assume an interconnected state and wherein at least one of the plug module pairs has at least one locking device, which can assume a locking state in the interconnected state of the plug and the mating plug, in which locking state the locking device prevents the plug module and the mating plug module of said plug module pair from separating from each other.

Modular plug connector

Provided is a plug for use as a disconnector for current transformers. Two types of short circuits are provided in the plug. A first short circuit is used for diverting overvoltages by short-circuiting the electrical contacts in the plug. A second short circuit is provided for short-circuiting electrical contacts in the plug when the plug is not contacted. The short circuits are designed in such a way that the first short circuit is used as a fuse when the second short circuit fails.

Plug

A latching device for a first system of plug connectors, which are fastened to a first mounting rail, and a second system of plug connectors, which are fastened to a second mounting rail, includes a passive latching part and an active latching part. When the active latching part is latched to the passive latching part, the first mounting rail and the second mounting rail are connected to each other, and the plug connectors located on the first mounting rail and the second mounting rail are brought into contact with each other.

A connecting component formed by a first housing, within which there are disposed electrical components which are connected to coupling elements acting outwards, is oversheathed with an insulating envelope. The first housing is surrounded by a second housing, the coupling elements are guided through corresponding openings of the second housing, and the space between the two housings is overcasted with a polyurethane plastic compound. After curing, the thus formed sheath of the housing has, with only one process step, a shape identically reproducing that of the second outer housing.

A connecting device for electrically connecting a three-phase motor having three windings (U, V, W) to a three-phase network. The connecting device comprises a mains connection unit () for connecting the phase lines (L, L, L) of the three-phase network, and a motor connection unit () for connecting the six winding ends (U, U, V, V, W, W) of the three-phase motor. An exchangeable coupling module (') is furthermore provided, which is arranged between the mains connection unit and the motor connection unit and contains contacts and wiring elements electrically connecting the six winding ends (U, U, V, V, W, W) in a predefined manner to the three phase lines (L, L, L) of the three-phase network.

In order to separably connect an electric conductor () to a printed circuit board (), it is proposed to insert a connecting element () into an opening () in the printed circuit board (). In this case, a sleeve-like contact region () of the connecting element () is clamped against the inner surface () of the opening () by means of a clamping pin ().

For a modular plug connector in which different, replaceable modules can be inserted in a hinged retaining frame of two halves, it is proposed to insert modules in the form of sealed enclosures. At least one module is provided with electronic, optoelectronic or pneumatic components for controlling signal functions or generating signal variation for further control tasks.
