The present invention relates to a protease variant which is at least 90% identical to the full length amino acid sequence of a Kumamolisin AS backbone as set forth in any of SEQ ID NOs 1-3, while maintaining proteolytic activity, or a fragment, fraction or shuffled variant thereof maintaining proteolytic activity, which protease variant demonstrates altered or improved stability compared to the Kumamolisin AS wildtype as set forth in SEQ ID NO 4, or the Kumamolisin AS backbone as set forth in any of SEQ ID NOs 1-3.

Stable protease variants

The invention relates to agents containing esterases, and to the use thereof for dressing fibres, in particular, artificial fibres, washing and cleaning agents comprising esterases and corresponding washing and cleaning methods, in addition to additional technical areas of application. The invention also relates to the use of esterases for protecting against or reducing and/or preventing pilling, preferably in textiles, particularly plastic fibres, more preferably polyester fibres, in addition to the use of esterases for separating the plastics, in particular, polyester compounds. The invention further relates to novel esterases and to sufficiently related proteins and to derivatives thereof, agents containing them and to the use thereof.

Esterases for separating plastics

The present application relates to washing and cleaning agents, containing phosphate compounds having aliphatic and/or aromatic residues, which act as enzyme stabilizers. Further subjects are the use of such compounds as reversible inhibitors of enzymes, in particular of proteolytic enzymes, and thus as stabilizers in washing or cleaning agents, and further methods and uses correlated therewith.

Washing agent having stabilized enzymes

Washing and cleaning agents containing benzophenone or benzole anilide derivatives containing carboxyl groups, which function as protease inhibitors and are suitable as enzyme stabilizers. Additional subjects are the use of such compounds as reversible inhibitors of a protease and consequently for a washing or cleaning agent formulation, and additional methods and uses relating thereto.
