A crosslapper, a process and a formed fabric web shielding device for a cross lapper shield a formed fabric web moved in the crosslapper. The formed fabric web has a bottom side, a top side and side surfaces located at formed fabric longitudinal edges. The crosslapper includes a displaceable main carriage and a crosslapper laying belt feeding the formed fabric web in a web direction to the displaceable main carriage with the formed fabric web bottom side located on the cross lapper laying belt. The shielding device includes a housing configured to be arranged in the crosslapper and configured to cover the side surfaces of the formed fabric web located on the laying belt and being fed to the displaceable main carriage, which side surfaces extend along the web direction, to shield the side surfaces of the formed fabric web against external environmental effects.

Shielding device, shielding process and crosslapper

A carding apparatus () and a carding method for producing a card web () are based on the carding apparatus () including a web forming device () for creating a preliminary web (), followed by a web layering apparatus () which is followed by a card (), and a controllable or adjustable profiling device (). The profiling device () precedes or is associated with the web layering apparatus (). The profiling device () is used for profiling the preliminary web () in order to preventively compensate for peripheral bulges in the card web () discharged by the card ().

Carding apparatus and carding method

A nonwoven laying apparatus () and a nonwoven laying method are based on a laying device () that folds a delivered fiber web () and forms a multilayer nonwoven fabric () on the discharge path () of a discharging conveyor () that runs transversely or at an angle to the feeding direction (). The travel profile of the discharge path () is set in such a way as to vary in the discharge direction in the vertically projected zone below the web outlet () of the laying device.

Nonwoven laying apparatus and nonwoven laying method

A nonwoven fabric-laying device, in particular a cross-laying device, and an operating method are provided. The nonwoven fabric-laying device () is used for folding down and depositing a supplied fibrous sheet () to form a multi-layered nonwoven fabric () and, for conveying the sheet, has a plurality of linearly movably guided carriages (to) which are driven by a carriage drive and has a plurality of conveyor belts () guided by means of the carriages (to). One or more carriages (to) are directly driven by an electric linear motor ().

Nonwoven-laying device and operating method

A cross-lapper () includes an upper carriage (), a laying carriage (), and two endless laying belts, which are each guided on the main carriages () by deflecting rollers (to). The one laying belt () is designed as a feeding belt, which carries a fibrous web () and feeds the fibrous web to the upper carriage (). The other laying belt () is designed as a counter belt. The upper carriage () has a belt deflection device () for both laying belts (). At the belt deflection device (), the laying belt () is deflected by approximately 180 degrees from a feeding direction () thereof to the opposite direction by means of three of more deflection points ().

Cross-lapper

A compensating device () for fluctuating transport speeds of a fiber nonwoven (). The compensating device () has a buffer belt () driven in a loop with three or four or more deflection points () and with a variable sag () of the carrying run supporting the fiber nonwoven (). The compensating device () further has an adjusting element () for adjusting the location of at least one deflecting point ().
