A hand tool for dentistry and/or dental prosthetics, having a grip part which defines a main axis and, in the direction of the main axis, has a front end area and a read end area. The grip part has, in the front end area, an open receiving recess in which the collet element is arranged with an adjustable receiving diameter for receiving an object. The receiving diameter of the collet element can be modified by way of an actuating device. The collet element can be secured against rotation in the grip part.

Hand tool for dentistry and dental prosthetics

An abutment for dental implant systems of the kind suitable to be associated to a dental implant. The abutment has an inlay, and the inlay is provided at its upper part with an external profile having one or more shoulders for connecting and permanently jointing the inlay to the abutment. Further, the inlay may be shaped such that it is completely surrounded by the abutment in the assembled state of the dental implant system.

Dental implant system

An implant system comprising a dental implant, a holding element is provided with non-rotational joint means adapted to avoid relative rotation of the holding element with respect to the implant, and a clamping element adapted to steady retain the holding element close to said implant. The system further comprises release means provided on the clamping element and suitable to interact with release means provided on a separating tool, so that acting on the separating tool the implant can be released from the holding element without transferring damaging forces such as torsional, tensile or compressive forces, to the implant.
