The invention relates to a method for operating a piston pump with a differential cylinder drive () with at least two differential cylinders () for driving at least two conveying pistons movable in conveying cylinders, each conveying piston being driven via an associated differential cylinder () of the differential cylinder drive () for operating the piston pump, with a hydraulic circuit () for driving the differential cylinder drive () by the action of hydraulic fluid. The invention also relates to a piston pump for carrying out the method.

A manipulator includes an articulated boom configured to be folded out. The articulated boom includes a turntable that can be rotated about a vertical axis, a plurality of boom segments, electrically-actuated proportional valves, and a remote control. The boom segments are pivotable via respective drive assemblies. The electrically-actuated proportional valves are respectively arranged directly on or in proximity to the respective drive assemblies to be controlled. The remote control includes at least one control lever configured to be displaced in a plurality of actuating directions. The manipulator further includes an electronic controller configured to actuate the drive assemblies via a travel command. The travel command indicates a desired movement of the boom tip. The travel command is generated in response to displacement of the control lever into at least one of the plurality of actuating directions. And, the travel command causes actuation of the respective electrically-actuated proportional valves.

Large manipulator with decentralized hydraulic system

A large manipulator includes a chassis, a turntable arranged on the chassis and rotatable around a vertical axis via a rotary drive, and an articulated mast including two or more mast segments pivotably-movably connected, via articulated joints, with the respectively adjacent turntable or mast segment via a respective drive. The large manipulator further includes a mast sensor system configured to detect position of at least one point of the articulated mast or a pivot angle of at least one articulated joint and configured to generate sensor output signals. The large manipulator further includes a control device configured to actuate the drive in a normal operation for mast movement and to limit speed of movement of the articulated mast depending upon the sensor output signals. The drive is manually controllable in an emergency operation. The large manipulator further includes at least one limiting means, which, in the emergency operation, limit speed of the drive to a pre-specified maximum value.

A thick matter pump includes a hydraulically-driven two-cylinder piston-pump configured to generate a thick matter delivery pressure. The thick matter pump also includes a hydraulic pump configured to apply hydraulic fluid to the two-cylinder piston-pump via a drive line. The hydraulic pump includes a pressure regulator that is adjustable to a target value of pressure of the hydraulic fluid for limiting the thick matter delivery pressure, and the thick matter delivery pressure is adjustably limited. The pressure of the hydraulic fluid is limited in the drive line, via an adjustable pressure-limiting valve, to an adjustable maximum pressure. The target pressure of the pressure regulator and the maximum pressure of the hydraulic fluid are adjustable through a joint adjusting element.

An electrohydraulic control circuit includes a hydraulically-operated drive assembly and an emergency valve. The hydraulically-operated drive assembly includes an electrically-actuated proportional valve and hydraulic operating lines. The proportional valve is connected to the hydraulic operating lines for actuation of the drive assembly in a normal operation mode. The proportional valve is also connected to a pressure supply line and to a return line. The emergency valve is connected to the hydraulic operating lines for actuation of the drive assembly in an emergency operation mode. In the emergency operation mode, the emergency valve is actuated via an emergency operating unit.
