A press drive including an electric motor with a stator and a rotor and permanent magnets arranged around the circumference of the rotor. The rotor includes at least one eccentric integrally therewith and rotatably supported with the rotor. The stator is supported on the rotor by bearings arranged adjacent the eccentrics and is held stationary by torque struts.

Eccentric press with direct drive

In the gondola () of a wind power plant () according to the invention the main shaft comprises several parts. The rotors () of the generators () are parts of the main shaft. Other shaft sections () are used for supporting the main shaft () on the machine carrier or, respectively the gondola frame () and the attachment of the rotor hub (). The generators () may be completely pre-assembled and delivered as mounting units. During the pre-assembly of the generators, the rotor () and the stator () are fixed relative to one another by mounting aids. The mounting aids, interlocking devices, are removed after the whole drive train is mounted to the machine carrier (). The stator of the generator () is mounted on the machine carrier () via adjustable supports.

Gondola with multi-part main shaft

In the generator arrangement according to the invention at least one main bearing is arranged between the generator and the hub wherein the rotor of the generator is supported only on the front end of a rigid carrier in the form of a support disc (). The support disc is a hollow chamber structure of low weight and high rigidity.

Generator arrangement for a wind power plant

In a press installation including a press with at least one press station and a multi-station press between arranged at a distance from each other which is a non-integral multiple of the press station distance of the multi-stage press. The installation also includes a transport arrangement for moving workpieces from press station to press-station concurrently by a step corresponding to the distance between the press station of the multi-station press. To compensate for an increased distance between the press station of the press and the adjacent press station of the multi-station press a deposit stage is arranged between the press and the multi-station press and includes a movable support an which the workpiece removed from the press can be deposited and from which, after appropriate movement of the support in the transport direction, it can be picked up by the transport arrangement for placement in the adjacent press station of the multi-stage press.

Transfer press with non-uniform station spacing

Press driving modules are provided to permit a standardized press design. The presses of a press line are equipped with always identical press driving modules, and the pressing force of the presses is varied only by the adaptation of the number of press driving modules. The press driving modules each contain two driving devices, respectively, that interact parallel or in series and have different characteristic curves. In particular, they have different maximal traveling speeds and different maximal forces. They can also have a different design with respect to their positioning capability and path resolution. This concept permits not only a standardization of presses of different performance classes within a press line but, beyond that, the largely free definition of characteristic path-time curves of the slides, and thereby finally also a freer design of workpieces, particularly of vehicle body parts.

Press driving module and method of providing a press line

In a transfer arrangement and method for transferring a workpiece between first and second spaced locations along a guide rail with a carriage movably supported on the guide rail, a transfer arm is pivotally supported on the carriage and carries at its free end a workpiece holder which is accelerated by the carriage with the arm essentially stretched out in the movement direction out of, and decelerated into, the end positions, and, in an intermediate position, the carriage movement is slowed down or even reversed while the workpiece holder is moved along by a pivot movement of the arm.

Transfer arrangement and method

A transfer press provided with a transfer device, having transfer units provided with cross members () for which the length is shorter than the width of a tool. The transfer units (to) are arranged completely between the processing stations or stages, are mounted on the crown or head piece, and are not provided with elements extending beside the tools or between supports of adjacent processing or press stations. Thus, the full width spanned by the press supports can be used for the tools. In addition, tools can be used which are provided with guides, effective between the upper tool and the lower tool, particularly in the side region. The work pieces are handled solely by means of the openings, freed by the tools and pointing counter to the transporting device, wherein no element of the transfer device extends past the side limits of the tool. The cross members () are preferably not supported at the ends () by their transfer units (to), but at the locations () at a distance thereto, thus permitting a higher operating speed.

Transfer press with improved use of space

In a press having a plunger supported so as to be movable linearly back and forth by drive means which include at least one servomotor in combination with a rotatably supported inertia structure connected for rotation with the servomotor, the inertia structure has an inertia moment which is small enough to permit reversal of the servomotor within a stroke length of the plunger so that the stroke of the plunger is adjustable under the control of a control device connected to the servomotor for controlling its operation.

Mechanical press

A hydraulic drawing system for a press is provided for controlling a blank holder. The blank holder can be moved by at least one hydraulic cylinder-piston unit which has at least one pressure chamber. By way of a connection line, the pressure chamber is connected directly with a control block provided for controlling the movements of the at least one cylinder-piston unit. At least one storage element for storing pressure for the at least one cylinder-piston unit is connected by way of a connection line with the control block and, by way of another connection line at least one valve device is connected with the control block. The connection lines extend in each case at least approximately completely within the respective components.

Hydraulic draw press arrangement

An apparatus loads and unloads workpieces. The apparatus includes at least one essentially horizontally movable element, at least one essentially vertically movable element and at least one element for receiving workpieces. The horizontally movable element has at least one drive unit and has at least two belts communicating with the one or more drive units and the one or more elements for receiving the workpieces.

Transfer press and apparatus for loading and unloading workpieces

A transfer arrangement includes a transfer unit constructed as a three-axle transfer unit. For two parallel, spaced gripper rails which are to be moved synchronously, stationarily disposed driving units are provided for the respective transport direction, the transverse direction and the stroke direction. The transverse driving unit acts by way of coupling devices upon the gripper rails to establish a driving connection between the transverse driving unit and the gripper rails only when these must be laterally adjusted. Otherwise, the transverse driving unit is separated from the gripper rails. Thereby, the masses, which are to be moved up and down with the gripper rails and the resulting acceleration forces are considerably reduced and shortened timing periods are permitted. The transverse driving unit 40 can be arranged below a plane defined by the gripper rails. For exchanging workpieces disposed on sliding tables, the gripper rails can move into a very lifted position without also having to lift the transverse driving unit, which otherwise would require a corresponding free space in the transfer arrangement.
