The invention relates to a multi-chamber bagfor medical purposes which is formed by films, in particular flexible films, that are arranged against one another, are made of an at least partially transparent material and are interconnected in a liquid-tight manner using at least one non-separable seam, the bag being divided into at least two chambersA,B by at least one separable seam, by means of which the films arranged against one another are interconnected in a liquid-tight manner. The multi-chamber bag according to the invention is characterised by at least one visually perceptible structurethat signals the state of the at least one separable seamand can be easily optically detected. Using this visible structure, the user can immediately identify whether the seamis open or closed. The present invention relates to a device for the treatment of blood comprising a solid phase on which a polypeptide is immobilized which is suitable for the inactivation of free nucleic acids. Suitable polypeptides are, for example, deoxyribonucleases, ribonucleases, DNA methyltransferases or cytosine deaminases. The invention further comprises the use of such devices for the treatment of patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, cancer or lupus erythematosus, as well as methods and systems for the treatment of blood, wherein free nucleic acids are inactivated outside the body.

A tube set for a blood handling apparatus, in particular an extracorporeal blood handling apparatus with an extracorporeal blood circuit or an apparatus for peritoneal dialysis, and a blood handling apparatus that has such a tube set are described. The tube set includes a device for collecting particles provided in a tube line portion of the tube set downstream of the tube portion placed in the occluding hose pump. The device for collecting particles prevents retention of solid substances that are possibly contained in the dialysis fluid, substituate or peritoneal solution. The tube set also has a device for limiting the pressure in the tube line portion between the occluding hose pump and the device for collecting particles. The device for limiting the positive pressure prevents an excessive positive pressure from building up in the tube line when fluid flow through the device for collecting particles is reduced or interrupted.
