An apparatus for production of sacks from semi-finished sacks, preferably tube pieces, with which sacks of different format can be produced has at least one device for the folding of sack bottoms and at least one gluing station for the gluing of at least the bottom flaps of an opened bottom square of the sack bottoms. The gluing station has at least two application heads. Each application head has a glue application area, whose extent is variable in a spatial direction (y), and is movable relative to a bottom center line of the sacks. A maximum glue application area in the spatial direction (y) has a length that is shorter than a spacing (C) located on one side of a bottom center line between an outer edge of the bottom flap of the largest sack format gluable in the gluing station and the center line of the sack.

The invention relates to a valve bag, in particular a cross-bottom valve bag, comprising a first wall and a second wall, which are joined to each other by means of side edges or side folds and by means of bottoms and which delimit a bag interior, comprising a valve, which is arranged in one of the bottoms and via which the bag interior can be filled with a filling material, and comprising venting openings in the first and/or in the second wall for venting the bag interior. An apparatus and a method for the processing of semi-finished sacks and a gluing station for semi-finished sacks include a feed element and a guide element. Semi-finished sacks having more complicated shapes, such as tubular pieces having open bottom squares with valve patches inserted therein, tend to be subjected to a partial gluing process or even suffer damage during the process of glue application in the nozzle clearance. Therefore, at least one feed element is provided, which is disposed upstream of a glue-application gap in the transport direction of the semi-finished sacks, and which together with the guide element defines a feed region of the semi-finished sacks to the application head. Components of the semi-finished sacks are guided through the feed region, which tapers in the transport direction of the semi-finished sacks.

An apparatus for applying glue to regions of paper or plastic webs or paper or plastic web-sections for the production of paper sacks includes a nozzle unit having a plurality of glue outlet openings and glue supply lines and a plurality of glue valves via which the glue supply lines can be provided selectively with glue. Each glue valve includes at least one tappet having a sealing head and at least one counter element, with which the sealing head can make sealing contact. The apparatus includes a glue chamber via which glue can be provided. The counter element is disposed in, or in close vicinity to, the glue chamber.

Apparatus for applying glue to regions of paper or plastic webs or paper or plastic web-sections and a method for producing the same

A device for the production of tubes or sections of tubes having at least one paper layer, from which paper bags can be manufactured, includes an unwinder device for unrolling at least one material web from a material web roll, a device for the provision of at least one edge region of each material web with glue, and a tube forming device via which the edge region provided with glue can be inverted onto, and attached to, a second edge region. The tubes or sections of tube can be provided with air-permeable channels in the device. The device for providing at least one edge area of each material web with glue has glue application valves, with at least two glue application valves being functionally assigned to each material web, and with noncontinuous glue tracks being produced with the glue application valves such that interruptions therein form the air-permeable channels.

Device and method for the production of tubes or sections of tubes

A bottomer for the production of sacks, preferably cross-bottom valve sacks, includes at least one glue unit that applies glue to the components of the sacks. The glue unit includes a nozzle bar, which has at least one nozzle for extruding glue onto the sack components. The glue unit also includes a counter support, which positions the sack components with a force against the nozzle bar.

A base insert device for forming crossed bases in paper bags has folding devices, which introduce folds in tubular sections from which the bags are produced, gluing stations, which apply glue to the regions of the folds for gluing and/or to sheets provided for gluing to the base, and a pressing station in which the folded bases and the sheets are brought into contact with one another and glued. Glue outlet openings in the gluing station are provided with an application head that supports valves which can selectively open and close a connection between the glue outlet openings and a glue supply unit. The glue supply unit has glue supply lines and at least one chamber through which at least one part of the valves is supplied with glue. The chamber has a diameter of at least 5 mm in at least one point.

Paper sack bottoming device

The present invention relates to a base insert device for crossed base valve bags for the formation of crossed bases in paper bags, by means of folding devices which introduce folds at the ends of the tubular sections from which the bags are produced, with one or more gluing stations, which apply glue to the regions of the folds for gluing and/or the sheets () provided for gluing to the base, in the gluing stations and at least one pressing station in which the folded bases and the sheets () are brought into contact and glued. The novelty of the present patent application is that at least one gluing station for the sheets and/or bases is provided, comprising glue outlet openings () which may be selectively supplied with glue, whereby the selection of the glue outlet openings () defines the format of the glue application (). Said glue outlet openings () are provided with at least two application heads () of which at least one application head () may be displaced in a direction (y) orthogonal to the feed direction of the sheets () and/or the folded bases such that as a result of the displacement, a relative movement of the two application heads () occurs.
