The invention relates to a motor-operated crane drive in which a more rapidly rotating motor () drives a more slowly rotating cable drum () via a transmission (). A safety brake () is arranged on the more slowly rotating side of the transmission (). A signal that is used for actuating the safety brake () is utilized for initiating an electrical deceleration of the motor ().

Motor-operated crane drive

A method for drive control of a vertical mill having a grinding plate rotatable about the vertical axis by a drive train composed of an electric motor and a gearbox is disclosed. At least the electric motor and the grinding plate represent inertia elements in a system that can oscillate and are connected by the gearbox operating as a torsion spring element. A variation in the rotation speed of at least one of the inertia elements is measured, and the electric motor is governed by a controller that minimizes the measured variation in the rotation speed. The controller is parameterized for governing the electric motor so as to minimize maximum reaction torques resulting in the gearbox when applying a sinusoidal excitation.

A multiple drive for a heavy load application includes a plurality of drive trains which are activated such that individual ones of the plurality of drive trains are successively activated automatically during startup of the heavy load application as part of a predefined activation strategy according to a predefined activation scheme and an activation sequence defined therein. A method for drive control of a vertical roller mill having a grinding table rotatable about a vertical axis includes driving the grinding table with a drive train comprising an electric motor and a gearbox with a rotation speed; monitoring a profile of a measured value derived from vibration-relevant measured values to detect a predefined pattern in the profile; and when the predefined pattern is detected, automatically increasing or reducing the rotation speed of the grinding table by a predefined adjustment value. A corresponding drive system operating according to the method is also disclosed.

A method and a device for controlling the drive of a vertical mill having a grinding plate rotatable about the vertical axis are disclosed. The grinding plate can be driven by an electric motor and a drivetrain with a gearbox. An actual rotational speed and a drivetrain torque with respect to the drivetrain are detected and are fed to a control device together with a specified target rotational speed. The control device generates an output signal for a target torque based on the actual rotational speed and the target rotational speed and based on the drivetrain torque such that the resulting target torque is reduced or increased in the same direction as a torque resulting from the milling process.

Drive control method and control device which operates according to the method

In a method and a corresponding device for controlling a rotational speed of a drive driving a shaft, the rotational speed is controlled by a control device which is supplied with a control deviation calculated based on a desired value and an actual value for the rotational speed. The actual value for the rotational speed of the shaft is measured on the shaft with a first sensor and at least one additional sensor and the actual value is calculated from a weighted average of the individual measured values for the rotational speed obtained from the first and the at least one additional sensor.
