A probe unit having a coaxial structure and including a probe electrode, a guard electrode and a contacting module arranged on a section of the probe electrode, which contacting module including an insulating sleeve, a flexible circuit board with a first conduction path for the electrical contacting of the probe electrode and a second conduction path for the electrical contacting of the guard electrode, and a module housing, wherein a first contact plate is provided that electrically contacts the first conduction path, the module housing including a second contact plate that electrically contacts the second conduction path, wherein the module housing has a pot-shaped geometry with a cylindrical wall, which wall substantially surrounds, protects and/or electromagnetically shields at least the probe electrode in the region in which the contacting module is arranged, at least a part of the insulating sleeve, and at least sections of the circuit board.

Probe unit

A system for determining and/or monitoring a process variable of a medium in a container, comprising a sensor module with an oscillatable unit, which is arranged in such a manner in the container that the oscillatable unit extends to a defined immersion depth in the medium, or that the oscillatable unit is placed at the height of the predetermined fill level, a tubular extension and/or a temperature reduction unit of a defined length, a contacting module and an electronics module, composed of an exciter/receiving unit, which excites the oscillatable unit to execute oscillations and receives the oscillations of the oscillatable unit. The sensor module and the electronics module are either electrically connected directly with one another, wherein one of the two electrical coupling paths is activated, or wherein the sensor module and the electronics module are indirectly electrically connected with one another via the contacting module, and wherein both coupling paths are activated.

An apparatus for determining or monitoring a process variable of a medium in a pipeline, which has a predetermined inner cross section, comprising a sensor and a T-shaped adapter. The adapter has a first portion and a second portion arranged essentially perpendicular to the first portion. The first portion has essentially the same inner cross section as the pipeline and the sensor is so arranged in the second portion that the end face of the sensor facing the medium is flush with the inner surface of the first portion of the adapter.

Probe Unit

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium, comprising at least one sensor element sensitive for the process variable, a process connection for securing the apparatus to a container or pipeline and a housing connected with the process connection. The apparatus has at least one, first component of metal and at least one, second component of synthetic material, wherein the first component and the second component are embodied as hollow bodies. An annular, first connection region is formed on the first component, wherein on the second component an annular second connection region is formed, whose outer diameter corresponds at least sectionally to the inner diameter of the first connection region. The second connection region is introduced into the first connection region, and a securement structure is present, which is dimensioned and positioned in such a manner that the securement structure presses the second connection region at least sectionally against the first connection region.

Apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium. The apparatus includes: at least one probe unit; and at least one electronics unit, which supplies the probe unit with an operating signal and which receives from the probe unit a received signal. The probe unit includes at least one probe electrode and at least one guard electrode; and the probe electrode and the guard electrode are surrounded, at least partially, by at least one insulating unit. The the insulating unit has, in the region of the guard electrode, a smaller thickness than in the region of the probe electrode.
