Examples are disclosed for a labeling machine for labeling containers, such as bottles in the beverage-processing industry. In one example, a labeling machine includes at least one machine unit which in operation can treat containers (e.g., label the containers), and a movable protective element which separates at least part of the machine unit from an associated environment. The protective element comprises a handle for moving the protective element, and the handle comprises a pushbutton for locking and/or unlocking. The pushbutton, when actuated, selectively releases and/or blocks the movement of the protective element.

A device for supplying a large number of consumer stations with a predetermined amount of a process medium, in particular a coating device for containers, has a supply line for the process medium and a connection at the consumer station. In order to make such a device simpler from the structural point of view and less expensive, a unit is used, which keeps a predetermined flow rate constant and which comprises a capillary path extending before each connection and dimensioned in accordance with the predetermined amount of process medium, and a unit which is associated with a plurality of connections and which is used for maintaining a defined flow velocity along the capillary path.

A plasma processing plant for plastic bottles, having a vacuum chamber arranged inside the processing chamber and when a respective bottle opening is pressed against a valve, the valve will open and establish a connection between the interior of the bottle and the vacuum chamber, and the chambers are continuously sealed against one another in a gastight fashion. With such approach, the gas can be conducted more easily and the number of control mechanisms can be reduced.
