A plug connector to which a cable having at least one insulated conductor can be connected is provided, wherein the plug connector has a conductive rubber element with at least one conductive layer, but preferably with at least two conductive layers. The electrical connection of the conductors is realized by the conductive rubber element. The conductive rubber element can also form the plug face of the plug connector. As an alternative, the conductors can be connected to contact elements by the conductive rubber element.

In a connector housing with integrated cable clamp, it is proposed to provide a receptacle sleeve for an electrical cable that is integrally formed on the connector housing and provided with clamping elements that are distributed over the radius and point in the mating direction. When a pressure screw is screwed onto the receptacle sleeve, the clamping elements are pressed radially inward and the electrical cable is clamped in position.

In a cable clamp for fixing an electrical cable () that is connected to a connector, it is proposed to insert a clamping element () into a cylindrical cable receptacle () integrally moulded on the connector housing () such that it can be displaced by means of a pressure screw (). Clamping fingers () that are integrally moulded on the clamping element () fix the electrical cable () extending within the clamping element () while guiding fingers () integrally moulded on the clamping element () prevent the clamping element () from turning.

A circuit board connector extension comprising a body made of plastic and able to be attached to a circuit board, with first and second groups of contacts which each have one connecting end for contacting conductor tracks on the circuit board and one plug-in end for contacting contacts of a connector piece, the connecting ends of the two groups of contacts being arranged on one and the same side of the body, whereas the plug-in ends of the first group being arranged on a side of the body difference from that where the plug-in ends of the second group are arranged.

In order, to transmit differential signals between two printed boards, there is provided a printed board connector comprising an insulating connector housing and disk-shaped modules that contain electric contact elements and are arranged in the connector housing, wherein modules featuring signaling contacts and modules featuring shielding contacts are alternately arranged adjacent to one another. In this case, the shielding module is realized in such a way that signaling contact pairs arranged on top of one another are also at least regionally shielded relative to one another.

A shielded high-density edge connector comprises a metallic connector housing for accommodating several adjacently arranged segments with electric contacts held therein. The number of contacts between the mating side and the terminal side of the edge connector can be reduced by providing the contacts within the segments and the connector housing.

The invention relates to a contact carrier for a plug connector, in particular for a PCB plug connector. The contact carrier comprises a carrier body formed of a plastic material, and a plurality of contacts which are accommodated in the carrier body. Each of the contacts have two plug-in portions and one transition portion located between the two plug-in portions. The transition portions are exposed at least in part and the carrier body is provided with thermally conductive webs which are located between the transition portions and adjoin the latter.

In a compact printed circuit board connector adapted to be mounted at a printed circuit board and intended to be soldered to the printed circuit board simultaneously with other electrical components in a heating oven by using a solder paste for soldering the components, a channel is provided which extends through the interior of the printed circuit board connector. The channel serves for circulating a flow of heated gas through the interior of the connector in order to quickly achieve the required soldering temperature at the soldering ends of the contact elements.

For the mechanical coding of parts which can be joined together, it is proposed that the parts be connected to, in each case, one of two coding elements which belong together, the said coding elements being constructed as a one-piece coding module and being held together by means of web-like connections, and the connectable parts being divided up, after being joined together, into two coded releasable parts.
