Devices for separating piece goods such as pharmaceutical product packages to be stored in a picking device are provided. The device includes a feed device for piece goods, a recording device for recording 3D images of piece goods, a control device for evaluating 3D images and for determining a piece good to be picked, a conveyor for picking a piece good, a deposit surface, and a lateral recording device. The control device is configured so that the orientation of the picked piece good is ascertained and the preferred storage surface is established and that the conveyor is activated in such a way that a picked piece good is situated on a preferred storage surface on the deposit surface. Methods of separating piece goods to be stored in a picking device are also provided.

Device and method for separating piece goods

The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a pharmacy order-picking device. The present method reduces the susceptibility of the pharmacy order-picking device to disruption. To detect a positioning deviation of the control appliance in the horizontal direction, at least one desired value of at least one reference position is made available, the control appliance is brought to a position corresponding to the desired value in the horizontal direction and, when a signal characteristic of a reference position is detected, an actual value of this reference position is determined. A desired value is compared with a corresponding actual value, or two actual values are compared with each other, and a deviation is determined. If a deviation is determined that exceeds a limit value, a signal pointing to the need for a correction is output. Depending on the deviation, automatic correction of the position deviation can be performed.

Method for operating a pharmacy order-picking system

The invention relates to a method for detecting incorrect storage of medicament packages in a pharmacy order-picking device. Such incorrect storage can occur in the event that manual removal of medicament packages becomes necessary due to a malfunction. The pharmacy order-picking device comprises a series of shelves comprising a plurality of shelf compartments and at least one movable operating device in front of the row of shelves, wherein the operating device has a gripping device as well as a sensor. In order to detect incorrect storage, shelf compartments with potential incorrect storage of medicament packages are detected; the operating device is moved to a prescribed shelf position if a shelf compartment is detected; with the sensor switched on, the operating device moves across a detected shelf compartment in a horizontal direction, detects the storage depths at various X positions using the sensor and creates a virtual image of the actual situation on the basis of the detected storage depths; the image of the actual situation is then compared with a target image of the shelf compartment.

Method for detecting incorrect storage of medication packages

The present disclosure relates to a method for retrieving medication packages from a pharmacy order-picking device. In modern pharmacy order-picking devices, medication packages are stored for space optimization, which can cause a number of heavy packages to be stored on one shelf, causing the shelf to bend, which may prevent retrieval. In the method according to the disclosure, an operating device () is displaced in a displacement position to a predetermined shelf position, at least one medication package () on a shelf () belonging to the shelf position is moved with a gripping device () in the direction of a support () and it is then checked whether the at least one medication package () has moved fully onto the support (). If the check has a negative outcome, an edge ('&#x2033;) of the shelf () on which the at least one medication package is stored is detected with a sensor () of the operating device () and said operating device () is displaced to a corresponding shelf position, the gripping device () having been brought into the displacement position before displacement.
