An electromechanical brake device has a brake caliper and a pressure piston mounted in the brake caliper such that it can move in a clamping direction, wherein the brake device has an electromechanical clamping device, wherein the clamping device is supported, on one side, on the pressure piston and is designed to apply to the pressure piston a force acting in the clamping direction. It is provided that the brake device has at least one hydraulically sealed, fluid-filled cavity, wherein the clamping device is supported, on the other side, indirectly on the brake caliper via the fluid-filled cavity, and wherein a pressure sensor is hydraulically connected to the fluid-filled cavity and is designed to calculate the fluid pressure inside the fluid-filled cavity.

Electromechanical brake device

An assessment module for assessing data from a digital map for a vehicle. The assessment is made on the basis of a piece of dedicated map quality information and measurement data from an ambient sensor system in the vehicle. The connected driver assistance systems and safety systems in the vehicle use the digital map data on the basis of the assessment.

Verification of digital maps

A device and method for the establishment of quality parameters of a digital map. A currently determined position of the vehicle and a measured value of an attribute of this position is used to calculate a quality parameter which serves as additional information for the data of the digital map. A driver assistance system constitutes an improved aid for a driver of a vehicle, since, in addition to the data of the digital map, the driver assistance system uses the feedback information of the quality parameter.

Establishing quality parameters of a digital map

A method for calibrating a wheel speed detection system, comprising at least one wheel speed sensor and at least one electronic control unit. The at least one wheel speed sensor output signal is evaluated in the electronic control unit and the evaluation is adapted to a distance information item which is acquired from a traveled reference distance.
