An interior compartment or container for a domestic refrigeration appliance has a side wall on which an elongate bearing rib for a bearing panel is integrated. The bearing rib extends in the depthwise direction of the interior compartment and extends over at least half the depth of the side wall. The bearing rib has an upper bearing side, which merges with the side wall by way of a first rounding and merges with an underside of the bearing rib by way of a second rounding, which is located opposite the first as seen in the widthwise direction. The underside merges at its lower end with the side wall. In a cross section of the bearing rib taken in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, a vertical-dimension ratio, measured in the heightwise direction, between an underside vertical dimension and an upper-side vertical dimension is between 3.5 and 4.5.

A food-receiving container for a household refrigeration appliance includes a shell for receiving food and a ventilation device for carrying out an air exchange between the surroundings and the interior of the food-receiving container. The shell has a front panel on which a handle is disposed. The handle is disposed in an upper region of the front panel, when viewed in the vertical direction of the food-receiving container. The ventilation device is disposed on the handle. A household refrigeration appliance having the food-receiving container is also provided.

A domestic refrigeration appliance includes a receiving space for food, a drawer in the form of a food container being movable in the receiving space and a compartment floor disposed in the receiving space and forming a cover for the drawer. An elastically deformable stop element which faces a front wall of the drawer is disposed on a front edge of the compartment floor. The compartment floor has a lowering segment on its foremost region which faces the front wall and a foremost rim on which the elastically deformable stop element is disposed. The foremost rim is lowered downward relative to a sheet region of the compartment floor.

A domestic appliance, in particular a refrigeration appliance, contains a door having a recessed grip and an illumination device for shining light onto the recessed grip. The illumination device has a projection device for projecting information onto the recessed grip. A method is used to operate a domestic appliance which contains the door having the recessed grip and the projection device for shining light onto the recessed grip, in which method information is projected onto the recessed grip by the projection device. The domestic appliance can be a refrigerator, a freezer, a preservation appliance or combinations thereof.

A refrigerator door includes an inner door liner, a front wall and a user interface housing connected to the front wall. The user interface housing, the inner door liner, the front wall and a heat insulation layer are combined together. The user interface housing has an accommodating space for accommodating a user interface electrical module. The user interface electrical module can be placed into the accommodating space or removed from the accommodating space from a side of the door. The door has a handle groove and a handle piece detachably connected to the door. The handle groove and the handle piece are located within the user interface housing and the handle piece divides the handle groove from the accommodating space. The user interface housing includes a concave portion being opened forward and the handle groove is accessible though the concave portion. A refrigerator having the door is also provided.

A door leaf for opening and closing the interior chamber has an inner face facing the interior chamber and an outer face facing away from the interior chamber. A recessed handle in the outer face includes a grip forming an indentation in the outer face. A lighting configuration has at least one lighting device, in particular an LED, to illuminate the recessed handle. At least a large part of the electronics system and the at least one lighting device form a common assembly disposed within the door leaf adjacent the indentation, so that the at least one lighting device can radiate light out of the indentation into the recessed handle.
