Process for making an electrode active material for a lithium ion battery, said process comprising the following steps: (a) Contacting a mixture of (A) a precursor of a mixed oxide according to general formula LiTMO, wherein TM is a combination of two or more transition metals selected from Mn, Co and Ni, optionally in combination with at least one more metal selected from Ba, Al, Ti, Zr, W, Fe, Cr, K, Mo, Nb, Mg, Na and V, and x is in the range of from zero to 0.2, and (B) at least one lithium compound, with (C) Br, I, or at least one compound selected from carbon perhalides selected from the bromides and iodides, and interhalogen compounds comprising bromine or iodine, and (b) Subjecting said mixture to heat treatment at a temperature in the range of from 700 to 1000&#xb0; C.

A hot rolled flat steel product including (in % by weight) of C: 0.05-0.08%, Si: 0.015-0.500%, Mn: 1.60-2.00%, P: up to 0.025%, S: up to 0.010%, Al: 0.020-0.050%, N: up to 0.006%, Cr: up to 0.40%, Nb: 0.060-0.070%, B: 0.0005-0.0025%, Ti: 0.090-0.130%, unavoidable impurities including up to 0.12% Cu, up to 0.100% Ni, up to 0.010% V, up to 0.004% Mo, and up to 0.004% Sb, and the remainder being iron. The hot rolled flat steel product has a yield strength of 700-850 MPa, a fracture elongation of at least 12%, and a microstructure of at least 70% by volume bainitic microstructure.

A process for removing C-C-hydrocarbons and acid gases from a fluid stream is described, where a) the fluid stream is brought into contact with an absorption medium comprising at least one amine in an absorption zone to obtain a deacidified fluid stream and an acid-gases-laden absorption medium, b) the laden absorption medium is heated in a first heat exchanger and decompressed into a decompression zone to a pressure of from 5 to 10 bar to obtain a C-C-hydrocarbons-comprising gas phase and a hydrocarbon-depleted laden absorption medium, c) the hydrocarbon-depleted laden absorption medium is heated in an optional second heat exchanger and passed into a stripper in which at a pressure of 1 to 2.5 bar the acid gases are at least partially liberated by supplying heat to obtain a regenerated absorption medium and an acid-gas-comprising stream, and d) the regenerated absorption medium is recycled into the absorption zone.

Method for separating C5-C8 hydrocarbons and acid gases from a fluid stream

The disclosed flat steel products have optimal mechanical properties such as high strength and good toughness, but are also well-suited for welding and other manufacturing processes. The steel products may have a ferrite-free microstructure with at least 95% by volume martensite and bainite, with a martensite content of at least 5% by volume, and no more than 5% by volume residual austenite and unavoidable microstructure constituents from the production process. In addition to iron and unavoidable impurities, a composition of the flat steel products may include in percent by weight: 0.08%-0.10% C, 0.015%-0.50% Si, 1.20%-2.00% Mn, 0.020%-0.040% Al, 0.30%-1.00% Cr, 0.20-0.30% Mo, 0.020-0.030% Nb, 0.0015-0.0025% B, up to 0.025% P, up to 0.010% S, and up to 0.006% N. Impurities can include up to 0.12% Cu, up to 0.090% Ni, up to 0.0030% Ti, up to 0.009% V, up to 0.0090% Co, up to 0.004% Sb, and up to 0.0009% W.

High-strength flat steel product having a bainitic-martensitic microstructure and method for producing such a flat steel product

A high-strength steel having a minimum yield strength of 1300 MPa may include 0.23% to 0.25% by weight carbon, 0.15% to 0.35% by weight silicon, 0.85% to 1.00% by weight manganese, 0.07% to 0.10% by weight aluminium, 0.65% to 0.75% by weight chromium, 0.02% to 0.03% by weight niobium, 0.55% to 0.65% by weight molybdenum, 0.035% to 0.05% by weight vanadium, 1.10% to 1.30% by weight nickel, 0.0020% to 0.0035% by weight boron, and 0.0007% to 0.0030% by weight calcium. The high-strength steel may also include iron, unavoidable impurities, and at least one of the following: at most 0.012% by weight phosphorus, at most 0.003% by weight sulfur, at most 0.10% by weight copper, at most 0.006% by weight nitrogen, at most 0.008% by weight titanium, at most 0.03% by weight tin, at most 2.00 ppm hydrogen, at most 0.01% by weight arsenic, or at most 0.01% by weight cobalt. A method for producing such high-strength steel is also disclosed.

Methods for producing flat steel product with a yield strength of at least 700 MPa and an at least 70% by volume bainitic microstructure may comprise several steps. For example, one method may involve smelting a steel melt including in percent by weight 0.05-0.08% C, 0.015-0.500% Si, 1.60-2.00% Mn, 0.025% P, up to 0.010% S, 0.020-0.050% Al, up to 0.006% N, 0.40% Cr, 0.060-0.070% Nb, 0.0005-0.0025% B, 0.090-0.130% Ti, unavoidable impurities, and Fe. The may further involve casting the melt to give a slab, reheating the slab, rough-rolling the slab, hot finish-rolling the rough-rolled slab, cooling the hot-finish-rolled flat steel product within ten seconds of hot finish-rolling, and coiling the hot-finish-rolled flat steel product.

Method for producing a high-strength flat steel product

A screen bar for a bar screen may comprise a steel composite sheet having at least three steel layers: a top layer, a core layer, and a bottom layer. The top, core, and bottom steel layers may be interconnected by roll cladding in a non-releasable manner. In some examples, the core steel layer may have a higher deformability than the top steel layer and the bottom steel layer. Likewise, the top steel layer and the bottom steel layer may have higher hardnesses than the core steel layer. Such screen bars have extended service life and can be manufactured more cost effectively, amongst other benefits. Methods for manufacturing such screen bars may involve a variety of steps including hot rolling and/or heat-treating.

Process for preparing melamine by converting urea in the presence of a solid catalyst in one reactor or in a plurality of reactors connected in series in the temperature range from 370&#xb0; C. to 430&#xb0; C., cooling and filtering the gas formed in the urea conversion, removing the melamine by desublimation and recycling a portion of the gas present after the melamine removal ('cycle gas') into the reactor or the reactors, which comprises performing all of the above stages at a pressure in the range from 4 bar abs. to 10 bar abs.

The invention relates to a process for the continuous thermal removal of binder from a metallic and/or ceramic shaped body which has been produced by injection molding, extrusion or pressing using a thermoplastic composition and comprises at least one polyoxymethylene homopolymer or copolymer as binder in a binder removal oven, which comprises the steps (a) removal of binder from the shaped body in a binder removal oven at a temperature which is from 5 to 20&#xb0; C. below, preferably from 10 to 15&#xb0; C. below, the temperature of a second temperature stage over a period of from 4 to 12 hours in a first temperature stage in an oxygen-comprising atmosphere, (b) removal of binder from the shaped body at a temperature in the range &#x3e;160 to 200&#xb0; C. over a period of from 4 to 12 hours in an oxygen-comprising atmosphere in a second temperature stage and (c) removal of binder from the shaped body at a temperature in the range from 200 to 600&#xb0; C. over a period of from 2 to 8 hours in a third temperature stage in an oxygen-comprising or neutral or reducing atmosphere, with the shaped bodies being transported through the binder removal oven during process steps (a) and (b).
