A flatness-measuring device for a hot-rolled strip within a hot-rolling mill includes an entry-side deflection roller and an exit-side deflection roller. A central deflection roller is arranged between the entry-side deflection roller and the exit-side deflection roller. The central deflection roller is used as a flatness-measuring roller. To prevent the hot-rolled strip from departing laterally during a flatness measurement, the flatness-measuring device has a sensing apparatus for sensing an actual position of the hot-rolled strip. An adjusting apparatus is connected to the sensing apparatus and to at least one of the deflection rollers. The flatness-measuring device is designed to vary an angle between a longitudinal central axis of the deflection roller respectively connected to the adjusting apparatus and a longitudinal axis of the flatness-measuring device based on a deviation of the actual position of the hot-rolled strip from a predefined target position.

Flatness-measuring device, hot-rolling mill and method for operating a flatness-measuring device

A flatness measuring apparatus for measuring the flatness of a metallic strip, including a measuring roller which has a roller axis and which makes contact with the strip for the measuring the flatness. The measuring roller is connected to a cooling system, using which the measuring roller can be cooled. To ensure that a high degree of measuring accuracy can be maintained even at high temperatures, the cooling system has a nozzle bar that extends parallel to the roller axis. At least one spray nozzle is arranged on the nozzle bar, using which cooling medium can be sprayed on the surface of the measuring roller in a spraying direction. The spraying direction meets a surface section of the measuring roller, and the angle between the spraying direction and the tangent on the measuring roller at the location of the surface section is less than 30°.

Flatness-measuring apparatus for measuring the flatness of a metal strip

The device includes lateral guide elements which are arranged on both sides of the strip material and, in particular, along a roller table having several rollers, and at least one rotating wear body on each side guide element. In order to minimize the wear of guide elements when transporting the strip material over a roller conveyor, a speed control device regulates a rate of speed of the at least one wear element. Further, a position control device is provided for setting an extended position of the at least one wear element. The position control device sends control signals to a positioning drive for extending the at least one wear body to an extended position.

The frame is movable with the aid of a second setting device between a coiler shaft position and a roller bed position.
