The disclosure relates to mechanical support rail cleaners for cleaning support rails of workpiece supports in machine tools, such as in machine tools for thermally cutting workpieces. The cleaners include one or more cleaning member carriers, which carry at least one cleaning member, and a parallel drive, by means of which the cleaning member and the support rail can be moved relative to each other in parallel with a lateral longitudinal face of the support rails and transversely relative to a longitudinal axis of the support rail to remove deposits from the support rail by means of the cleaning member. The support rail cleaner further includes a transverse drive configured to periodically move the one or more cleaning member carriers and the support rail towards and away from each other transversely relative to the lateral longitudinal face of the support rail.

Mechanical support rail cleaners for cleaning support rails of workpiece supports in machine tools

A device for cleaning supporting strips of workpiece supports includes a motor feed drive assembly having a feed drive motor and a feed member. The feed member is configured to engage the supporting strip and to be driven by the feed drive motor to provide relative motion between the feed member and the supporting strip along a longitudinal direction of the supporting strip.

A hand-operated machine tool includes a movable lever having a cutting portion and a driving portion, a stroke drive comprising a rotating stroke eccentric driven about a rotation axis, the stroke drive operable with the driving portion to reciprocate the cutting portion between end positions, a cam carrier comprising an adjusting cam disposed between the stroke eccentric and the driving portion and operable to move together therewith, the adjusting cam comprising a pitched portion, and a retaining stop configured to engage the cam carrier and move between a released position and an active position. When the retaining stop is moved to the released position, the cam carrier engages and drives the stroke eccentric. When the retaining stop is moved to the active position, the cam carrier disengages the stroke eccentric, thereby adjusting the end positions of the movable lever.

On a machine for bending a sheet-metal edge (4) provided with a first sheet metal part (2) over a second sheet metal part (3) to be connected to the first (2), with at least one pair (12, 15) of form rollers, preferably driven, whose form rollers (13, 14; 16, 17) roll over it in the feed direction (19) on opposite sides of the sheet-metal edge (4) along its longitudinal edge and whose roll gap (20, 22) in the bending direction is inclined toward the second sheet metal part (3), wherein one of the form rollers (14, 17) grasps the sheet-metal edge (4) underneath on the side facing the second sheet metal edge (3), and with a support going across the feed direction (19) with at least one abutment supported on one of the sheet metal parts (2,3) by the fact that the abutment(s) is (are) arranged lagging behind the pair (12) of form rollers in the feed direction (19) and is (are) supported on the side of the sheet-metal edge (4) facing the second sheet metal part (3). This prevents unwanted deformations and damage to the sheet metal parts (2, 3).
