A fitting for permanently connecting to at least one tube, the fitting including: a main body; a retaining element which has locking elements for locking to a corresponding locking element of the tube to be connected; a sealing element; and a blocking ring, the blocking ring allowing movement of the retaining element in the radial direction in a first axial position and preventing movement of the retaining element outwards in the radial direction in a second axial position.

A device for fixing a fitting, in particular for a sprinkler head, includes a base plate which can be used in various installation situations. According to one configuration, the technical problem of providing a fixing device is solved by the base plate having at least three mountings and by a top piece being present which covers the mountings. The fixing device can thereby be attached to a supporting base in different positions. In addition, a fixing device can accommodate different fittings.

A force-transmitting element for non-detachable workpiece connections includes a flange portion and a transmitting portion, wherein the transmitting portion has a substantially cylindrical inner peripheral surface and wherein the wall thickness of the transmitting portion tapers at least in sections from the end close to the flange portion to the end remote from the flange portion. The invention relates to a compression tool () for the permanent connection of workpieces () having two pivot elements (), which each have a compression jaw (), and having at least one rotational axis (), on which the pivot elements () are hinged, wherein the inner contours of the opposing compression jaws () form a receiving area (). The present invention is based on the technical problem of disclosing an alternative compression tool (), with which a permanent connection can be provided between workpieces () by axial compression. The technical problem is solved in that the inner contours have at least one sliding face (), which is inclined relative to the receiving area axis (). A compression tool () can thus be provided which, starting from a radial inward movement, performs a compression in the axial direction, nonetheless requires little installation space, and offers weight advantages due to a smaller axial extension, for example. Furthermore, the invention relates to an attachment for a compression tool () and to a method for the permanent connection of workpieces using a compression tool.
