A seat rail module for a vehicle seat, comprising two longitudinal adjustment rails () arranged parallel to each other for guiding the vehicle seat () and adjusting its position in longitudinal direction, deformation units () which can be fastened or are fastened to the longitudinal adjustment rails (), and fastening members () for fastening the seat rail module to the floor of a vehicle body, wherein the vehicle seat () can be fastened to the longitudinal adjustment rails () and the deformation units () are configured for deforming deformation members () when the vehicle seat is displaced in a main direction of travel, in order to decelerate the vehicle seat in the event of a crash, characterized in that the fastening members () are configured to fasten the seat rail module to the floor of the vehicle body by means of locking, and in that the fastening members () are mechanically unlocked when the vehicle seat () is displaced in longitudinal direction in the direction opposite to the main direction of travel beyond a predetermined limit line (). Also in the rear area in which the vehicle seat assumes a seat position which is shifted relatively far backward, such as will be possible in the future for ‘autonomous driving’ or as a relax position, precautions for occupant protection are provided to a sufficient extent, even if front occupant protection systems, in particular front airbags, are no longer effective in this area.

Seat rail module for a vehicle seat for vehicle seat deceleration in the event of a crash

A vehicle seat comprising a seat member and a backrest, wherein a belt connection is attached to or integrated into the upper end of the backrest, a mechanical coupling device is provided for coupling the backrest to the assembly for adjustment of the inclination of the seat member in the event of a collision. A triggering threshold is defined wherein the backrest is decoupled from the assembly under normal operating conditions, and wherein in a collision, when the triggering threshold is exceeded, the backrest pivots forwards and is finally coupled via the mechanical coupling device to the assembly, so that further pivoting of the backrest forwards triggers the assembly and causes the front region of the seat member facing away from the backrest to pivot upwards about a transverse axis.

Vehicle seat

The invention relates to a vehicle seat wherein the vehicle seat includes a back rest frame and a seat frame, which can be fastened to each other via a fitting. During assembly, mutually corresponding fastening points on the fitting and on at least one of the frame parts are brought to overlap in order to connect the two frame parts to each other with the aid of fastening elements. For the assembly, assembly aids are provided on the frame part and fitting. The assembly aids engage one inside the other in a form-fitting manner and are configured so that the two frame parts are held in an assembly aid position in which the mutually corresponding fastening points are aligned with respect to each other.
