Disclosed is a fuel conveying device including a valve housing in which a pressure release valve and a non-return valve are arranged parallel to one another, the pressure release valve having a first inlet, which downstream of a valve seat opens into a valve chamber in which a valve body is movably arranged and which is in fluid connection with a second inlet for the non-return valve via a first outlet. The device improves the control response of the pressure release valve by providing the first outlet at the periphery of the valve chamber and in the axial direction with respect to a valve axis such that when the pressure release valve is open the flow from the valve chamber into the second inlet is a substantially radial flow.

Fuel conveying device

A return-flow-free fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine having at least one fuel pump for pumping fuel from a first region of a fuel reservoir into a pressure region communicating with a fuel distributor, at least one suction jet pump, through which fuel pumped through a suction jet pump line by means of the fuel pump flows and through which fuel can be pumped from a second region of the fuel reservoir into the first region, at least one means that regulate and/or control the pressure in the pressure region, and at least one check valve, by which at least a portion of the pressure region can be blocked off from the fuel pump. The means that regulate and/or control the pressure in the pressure region include at least one electrically actuatable magnet valve(), which is disposed downstream of the check valve in the suction jet pump line.

Non-return fuel supply system

The pump for a liquid, especially an electric fuel pump, includes a pump portion having feed members drivable to provide a liquid flow; a housing can having a can base and a housing connector pipe extending from the can base and receiving the pump portion; and an electric drive motor having electrical contacts and a drive shaft connected to the feed members to drive the feed members and a motor housing enclosing the electric drive motor through which the drive shaft extends. The feed members are coupled nonrotatably with the drive shaft projecting through the can base. To provide a simpler assembly and reduced manufacturing costs, the drive motor and the enclosing motor housing are installed as a completely preassembled structural unit in the housing can.
