A pipe cutting device with a positioning element and a counter-support, which are formed on a c-shaped working head, wherein the working head also transitions into a foot part that can also be used as a grip region, and the positioning element can be displaced relative to the foot part to change an opening width of the working head, wherein the positioning element can also be fixed on the foot part by a detent device, which has a hand-operable engagement element that interacts with a receiving part to fix the detent. In order to improve the design in terms of handling, the engagement element is situated on the positioning element and can be displaced together with the positioning element relative to the receiving part.

Pipe cutting device

Shears having two limbs connected at a revolute joint, each limb comprising a handle region at one end and a cutting edge at the other end. One limb is fixed relative to the revolute joint during an opening and closing movement, and one limb is movable. The limbs move between an open position and a closed position while being limited by a stop and, in the closed position, the cutting edges pass each other over substantially their entire length. On the handle side of the revolute joint, one limb extends relative to the other limb such that it is supported in a planar manner on both sides in a region of overlap with the other limb, wherein the limbs comprise surface regions which, in the closed position, rest against one another in the region in which they are on top of each other and are each exposed on the opposite side.

Pliers for cutting cables

A pair of pliers having two pliers legs that are arranged in a crossing manner, wherein a fixed joint is formed, having a joint pin. The joint pin has a first conical portion that widens towards the outer side, wherein, the pliers leg is assigned a second conical portion which bears on the first conical portion and transitions into a first mouth portion that leads into the outer side of the pliers leg. The joint pin has a second mouth portion which, starting from the outer side of the pliers leg and perpendicularly to a joint axis, overlaps the first mouth portion. The first and second mouth portion, bound a circular clearance between one another, the radial dimension of the clearance corresponding to 0.05 to 0.15 times the radial dimension, measured from the joint axis of the joint pin in the region of the second mouth portion.

The invention relates to A pliers () having two pliers limbs () which are connected so as to be pivotable relative to one another in a box joint having a joint pin (), a working region () being formed on one pliers limb () on the one side of the joint and a gripping region () being formed on the other side of the joint, and a passed-through pliers limb () being formed with a push-through slot () which has a slot width (s) in the joint region and through which the other through-passing pliers limb () extends, the working regions of the pliers limbs () moreover having, at least in part, a width (b) that is greater than the slot width (s), and the working regions () designed in the form of jaws or cutting edges pivoting toward a shared central plane (E). In order to improve the pliers with regard to high performance while optimizing manufacturability, it is proposed that the joint pin () be laterally offset with respect to the central plane (E).

The invention relates to pliers, especially cutting pliers or crimping pliers, comprising limbs which cross in a single joint in the longitudinal direction thereof, form co-operating working regions on one side of the joint, and embody grips on the other side of the joint. The limbs are interconnected in such a way that they can only rotate in relation to each other, and co-operating recesses are provided on both limbs in order to guide the rotation. A rotational axis of the limbs is located outside the recesses, on the side of the working regions, and a first limb in the joint region is respectively covered, i.e. on both sides, by a lapping part which is connected to the other limb in a fixed manner. The aim of the invention is to provide the inventive pliers with an advantageous structure for the transfer of high gripping forces, also in terms of the forces acting in the joint. To this end, the lapping part is connected to the other limb in such a way that it covers the recesses of the first limb.
