A device for adjusting the position of a seat, in particular of a vehicle seat, has at least one fixing device for securing the position of the seat, which device has at least one locking element, each of which, in the locking position thereof locks at least two guide parts of the device to each other, which are held such that they can move in relation to each other, wherein at least one traction mechanism, with which the locking element can be moved out of the locking position thereof, is coupled to the locking element. A preloading element is associated with the traction mechanism, which preloading element acts directly on a section of the traction mechanism and preloads the traction mechanism without play.

Adjusting device for a seat

A drive arrangement for a motor vehicle door or hatch which can be moved by a motor with a planet gear and a brake device with a brake. The brake device has a brake drive which is separate from the drive which drives the drive shaft and the brake is able to be moved at least from one of two positions into the other of the two positions by the brake drive. The brake can be an arc-shaped clip pivotally supported by a pivot axle with an inner periphery which is matched to an outer periphery of an element of the planet gear. The brake can be combined with the brake drive as an eddy current brake or can be operated by a further gearing or use of a permanent magnet with which an electromagnet is able to interact.

Drive arrangement for a motor vehicle door or hatch which can be moved by a motor

The invention relates to a device for the wireless transmission of data and energy between an element to be mounted on or in a vehicle body, especially a vehicle sliding door ( ), a vehicle seat or a comparable additional unit, and a vehicle body ( ). The basic design of the inventive device comprises an electric power source ( ), control electronics ( &prime;) mounted in the vehicle body and at least one pertaining coil ( ) also mounted in the vehicle body. The device further comprises control electronics ( ) mounted in the element and at least one pertaining coil ( ) also mounted in the element. Both coils ( ) are inductively coupled via a common transmitting/receiving path to transmit data and energy. According to the invention, the coil ( ) mounted in the element is enclosed by the coil ( ) mounted in the vehicle body and can be displaced in a longitudinal direction within the coil ( ) mounted in the vehicle body or vice versa.
