Driving circuit comprises a first input, at which a first supply voltage is present, a second input, at which a second supply voltage is present, a first current supply unit selectively coupled to first or second input as function of at least one first control signal, at least one second current supply unit selectively coupled to first or second input as function of at least one second control signal, a control unit connected to first current supply unit and to at least one second current supply unit for respective control thereof and designed to provide at least one first and second control signal, and a first output coupled to first current supply unit to provide a first current for at least one first light-emitting diode, at least one second output coupled to at least one second current supply unit to provide second current for at least one second light-emitting diode.

Driver circuit for light-emitting diodes and method

A power supply arrangement () comprises a voltage regulator (), a driver circuit (), and a control circuit (). The voltage regulator () has a voltage regulator input () for the feeding of an input voltage (VIN), a voltage regulator output () to which an electrical load () is coupled that comprises a current source (), a feedback input (), and a comparator () that is coupled at a first input to the feedback input (). The driver circuit () has a driver output () that is connected to a control terminal of the current source (). The control circuit () comprises a control comparator () that is coupled at a first input with a signal output () of the driver circuit () and at an output with the feedback input () and also to which, at a second input, a reference signal (SR) can be fed.

Power supply arrangement and method for the power supply of an electrical load

A circuit arrangement for protection against electrostatic discharges comprises an shunt device, which is connected between a first and a second terminal of the circuit arrangement and has a control input, via which the conduction of the shunt device can be controlled. In addition there is a trigger element, which has a trigger output for issuing a trigger signal in dependence on a voltage between the first and the second terminal of the circuit arrangement. The circuit arrangement additionally comprises an interruption unit that can be controlled via a deactivation input by means of a sendable deactivation signal and which is connected on the input side to the trigger output and on the output side to the control input. In addition, a method for shunting electrostatic discharges is shown.
