The linear actuator comprises a double-chamber solenoid pump comprising at least one pump coil, a multi-way valve and at least one pump armature that can be moved by energizing the at least one pump coil and is provided with a switching armature by means of which the multi-way valve can be switched and which can be moved by energizing the at least one pump coil. In the method, both the switching armature and the pump armature are moved by energizing the pump coil.

The hydraulic actuator comprises: a hydraulic input cylinder having an input piston; a hydraulic output cylinder, which is hydraulically coupled to the input cylinder; and a pressure-limiting valve, which limits the output cylinder with respect to pressure in dependence on the usability of a force on the input piston. A torque transmission device includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and at least one pair of receiving bellows. The at least one pair of receiving bellows includes a positive receiving bellows and a negative receiving bellows. The torque transmission device also includes at least one gas pressure spring and an adjusting unit connected to the at least one gas pressure spring. The receiving bellows are arranged between the outer ring and the inner ring such that when the inner ring is rotated in the positive rotational direction, the positive receiving bellows may be compressed, and when the inner ring is rotated in the negative rotational direction, the negative receiving bellows may be compressed. In addition, the receiving bellows are connected to the at least one gas pressure spring in a fluidically conductive manner.
