A data staging system comprises an inbound staging area, data conversion logic, and a graphical user interface. The inbound staging area is configured to receive data records from a data sending computer system, including being configured to receive different versions of the same record. The inbound staging area stores the different versions of the same record pending further processing. The data conversion logic is configured to perform the further processing. The further processing reduces the number of different versions of the same record. The graphical user interface logic is configured to generate a display showing the records in the inbound staging area.

Data staging system and method

A system and method for storing, filtering, selecting and manipulating business exceptions generated by forecasting and replenishment processes and systems. When an exception is generated, it will be associated with attributes corresponding to those business objects and business areas to which the exception relates. Exceptions may also be associated with administrative attributes such as status, priority and generation date, as well as information identifying the specific business process that generated the exception. Generated forecasting and replenishment exceptions may be directed to a transitory dialog message. Alternatively, forecasting and replenishment exceptions may be logged or stored in a database for future review and treatment. Within an exceptions monitor or workbench tool, a business replenishment specialist may browse, search, select, review, filter, rearrange, edit, forward and/or respond to generated exceptions. Exceptions may be filtered tacitly according to a user profile associated with the business replenishment specialist. Alternatively, exceptions may be filtered according to explicitly supplied selection criteria.

System and method for filtering exceptions generated by forecasting and replenishment engine

A computer-implemented method of managing stock levels includes obtaining target-location-dependent information pertaining to a location product in an order management system using order proposals for management of the stock levels. The location product may not be included in an active order proposal. A computer-readable medium and/or system may also be provided.

Replenishment planning management

One embodiment of the invention includes a method of buffering data between an upstream system sending data to a buffer and a downstream system obtaining data from the buffer. This method may include receiving a data record containing a status flag and a position identifier, reading the status flag and the position identifier of the received data record, and searching an existing buffer location associated with the received position identifier. In some instances, when the existing buffer location associated with the received position identifier has an existing record associated with the received position identifier, the condition of a processing flag associated with the existing record and buffering the received data at the buffer location may be reviewed and subsequent updates to a processing flag may be made.

System, computer-readable medium and method for filtering exceptions generated by forecasting and replenishment engine

The application is directed to the accurate transfer of data. In various methods, systems, and devices of the present invention, a connectivity workbench may be employed to correct errors in data records transmitted between two systems. This workbench may enable real-time manual fixes as well as previously selected automatic fixes. A method that embodies the invention may include receiving a data record, verifying whether or not the data record is error free, correcting the data record and then buffering it until it is needed at a downstream system. In some embodiments, if the downstream system is busy when it receives the data record or if the target location is otherwise occupied, the data record may be returned to the upstream system and then resent at a later time once the error is resolved.
