A splitter assembly is provided that comprises a terminal block for mounting to a main distribution frame and a splitter circuit for combining/splitting POTS signals and xDSL signals onto/from a single wire pair. The terminal block is pivotally mounted to a housing and the splitter circuit is on a card that is located in the housing. The terminal block may be mounted to the same housing that contains the splitter card. The POTS line contacts, xDSL line contacts and combined line contacts of the splitter circuit are connected to respective pairs of terminals in the terminal block.

XDSL splitter assembly for main distribution frame

A cable closure for receiving electrical or optical splices has a lower shell and a cover and at least one end face of the lower shell has a fixed part and a removable sealing part. The lead-in openings are formed in a separating plane or line between the fixed part and the sealing element, and the lower shell and cover are connected to each other along one side by a hinge and fastening elements are located on the opposite longitudinal side of the closure. The cable closure includes cable-clamping devices for the cable sheath and clamping devices for central elements of the optical fiber cables.

Cable closure

An intercept mechanism for clamping on a central element includes a clamp element, a sleeve and a retainer element. The clamp element, at one end, has a mounting end connected by an adapter portion to a clamping end which has been bent in a U-shape to receive the end of the central element and is held on the central element by the sleeve. The mounting end can be detachably connected to the retainer element and the retainer element and mounting end can then be fixed to the cable with the assistance of a hose clamp.

Intercept mechanism for optical cables

A screwable cable seal introduction device for employment at sleeves or housings having an introduction sheath onto which a union nut can be screwed. A press sleeve is located in the inside of the introduction sheath, an annular seal composed of sealing material and laterally arranged support rings being deformed with the press sleeve until the required adhesion of the sealing material at the sealing surfaces to be contacted is accomplished. An automatic pressure compensation subsequently occurs, so that no permanent pressure is exerted onto the introduced cable.
