A membrane assembly for a humidification device of a fuel cell system may include a membrane. The membrane may be permeable to water and impermeable to air. The membrane may extend in a flat form in a longitudinal direction and in a transverse direction that is transverse with respect to the longitudinal direction in an extent plane. The membrane may include in a height direction extending transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction and transversely with respect to the transverse direction a top side and a bottom side averted from the top side. The membrane may include an encircling outer margin in the extent plane. The outer margin may have an upper edge at the top side and a lower edge at the bottom side, between which an encircling face surface extends.

Membrane assembly for a humidification device

A humidifying device for transferring water and/or water vapour from waste air of a waste air flow to supply air of a supply air flow is provided. In the compensating chamber of the housing of the humidifying device, at least one spreading means is arranged, which spreads apart the plate stack of the humidifying device and the housing cover closing the housing in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

An electric coolant pump may include a valve device controlled at a discharge side by pressure. The valve device may include a coolant inlet, a first coolant outlet, and a second coolant outlet. The valve device may be configured to at least one of open and close at least one of the first coolant outlet and the second coolant outlet based on a selected operating point and a pressure in a coolant.

A motor vehicle may include an internal combustion engine, a radiator, a heat exchanger, a coolant pump, and a valve device arranged separately therefrom, which is controlled at an intake side by pressure. The valve device may include at least one first coolant inlet, at least one second coolant inlet, and a coolant outlet connected to an inlet of the coolant pump. The valve device may be configured to, based on a selected operating point of the coolant pump and a pressure in a coolant, at least one of open and close at least one of the at least one first coolant inlet and the at least one second coolant inlet. The at least one first coolant inlet and a coolant outlet of the coolant pump may be connected to the internal combustion engine, and the at least one second coolant inlet may be connected to the radiator.

A plate heat exchanger may include a cover plate, a base plate and heat exchanger plates, the heat exchanger plates arranged as a stack oriented between the cover plate and the base plate. The base plate may overlap an edge of the adjacent heat exchanger plate, the base plate having an edge which is arranged in the direction of the heat exchanger plate stack. The edge of the base plate may follow at least in part a contour of the heat exchanger plate stack. The edge of the base plate may be formed at least in part by a projection. The projection may be integrally formed with the base plate and may be bent along folding lines.

A plate heat exchanger may include a plurality of stacked plates, each formed of flat troughs fitted into each other having substantially flat bottoms and connected at respective trough edges. The plurality of plates may separate first and second chambers from one another which are arranged alternately succeeding within the plate stack formed by the troughs. A first fluid may flow in parallel through the first chambers connected in parallel via associated openings in the plates, and a second fluid flow may flow in parallel through the second chambers connected in parallel via associated second openings. The plate heat exchanger may include a base plate for holding an end face of the plate stack. The base plate may be arranged on the end face of the plate stack, the end face formed by a convex side of a plate. The plate heat exchanger may include a flange.

A fresh air supply device for an internal combustion engine may include a filter element arranged in a filter compartment. A charge-air cooler may be arranged in a cooler compartment. A one-piece housing may integrally include the filter compartment and the cooler compartment. The charge-air cooler may have a coolant inlet, a coolant outlet and an internal coolant path which connects the coolant inlet to the coolant outlet. The internal coolant path may be coupled in a heat-transferring manner to a charge-air path extending inside the housing and through the cooler compartment.

Fresh air supply device

A supercharged internal combustion engine may include an exhaust gas turbocharger which is integrated into an exhaust section on the turbine side and into an intake section on the compressor side. An exhaust gas recirculation line may connect the exhaust section and the intake section. The exhaust gas recirculation line may branch off from the exhaust section downstream of a turbine of the exhaust gas turbocharger and opens into the intake section upstream of a compressor. A valve device for performing at least one of open-loop and closed-loop control of an exhaust gas recirculation rate may be arranged in the region of the exhaust gas recirculation line.
