The valve for pressure compensation and/or for emergency venting of a container, preferably of a housing of a vehicle battery, has a housing () with an inlet () that is closable by at least one valve element () subjected to a closing force in a first position. The housing () is at least partially gas-permeable and preferably water-tight, and has at least one outlet () which is located behind the valve element () when the valve element () assumes its first position. So that in case of a malfunction even larger quantities of gas can be guided to the exterior through the valve, is the valve element for an increased pressure surpassing the closing force at the inlet () is adjustable in the direction toward a second position against the closing force, in which the valve element () at least partially opens the outlet () such that the outlet () is directly connected in flow communication with the inlet ().

An actuating device for a coupling/braking device is provided with at least one actuating piston that is axially slidable relative to a shaft and, in an actuating state, exerts an axially acting contact pressure on coupling/braking parts of the coupling/braking device. At least one control piston is provided that axially displaces the at least one actuating piston into the actuating position. A coating is provided in a contact region between the actuating piston and the control piston, wherein the coating is disposed at the actuating piston or at the control piston or at both the actuating piston and the control piston. The actuating piston can also be designed as a control piston that interacts immediately with the coupling/braking parts of the coupling/braking device.

A disc pack coupling for torque transmission between shafts has coupling discs. A locking unit is provided that maintains a contact pressure acting on the coupling discs when the disc pack coupling is closed. The locking unit has a locking part, a guide part, an actuating element, and a pressure element. The guide part is non-rotatably and non-displaceably arranged in relation to a first shaft. The locking part has a locking part axis and is rotatable about and displaceable axially relative to the locking part axis. Locking part and guide part are provided with interacting control surfaces positioned at a slant to a rotational direction of the locking part. The control surfaces are provided to move the locking part into a first and a second stop position. In the first stop position, the locking part maintains the contact pressure on the coupling discs.

Disc pack coupling

A connector has a first male connector and a first female connector. The first male connector includes a male contact support that supports male contact elements, and the first female connector includes a female contact support that supports female contact elements. The first connector has tolerances in the direction of insertion. The first male contact elements of the first male contact support and the first female contact elements of the first female contact support are adapted to come into contact engagement at the time the first male connector and the first female connector are brought into contact engagement. At least one second connector is inserted into or integrated with the first connector, and the second connector includes a second male connector and a second female connector. The second male connector has a second male contact support adapted to support the second male contact elements, and the second female connector has a second female contact support which supports second female contact elements. The second connector has tolerances in the direction of insertion which are smaller than the tolerances of the first connector, and the second male contact support or the second female contact support are moveable in the direction of insertion.

Plug-in connector

The invention relates to a connector comprising a first insulating body, and first contact elements supported by said first insulating body, said first insulating body comprising: at least one guiding or catching area having a perimeter defining and limiting said catching area, said catching area being adapted to assure that even for a certain amount of misalignment between said first connector and a second connector supporting second contact elements and adapted to be coupled to said first connector a proper engagement and connection of said first and second, contact elements occurs, thus forming a connector system due to the fact that said guide means provided on said second connector cooperate with said catching area, and guide said first and second connectors into engagement wherein the outer perimeter of said catching area has the shape of one of a square and a rectangle.
