A fastener, in particular for bellows, comprises a male end segment and a female end segment complementary to the male end segment. The fastener can be used to fasten bellows to joint housings and/or shafts, said fastener having improved closing behavior.

A fastening means, in particular for a bellows, comprises a male end segment and a female end segment complementary to the male end segment. The fastening means can be used to fasten bellows to joint housings and/or shafts. The fastening means has an inner undercut region in order to provide an improved closing behavior of the fastening means.

A method for forming hollow profiles is disclosed. In one exemplary method, a hollow profile is guided through a die in a processing direction and fixed by a mandrel such that at the die, the hollow profile has a material flow velocity in this processing direction (), in which the method the mandrel has a drawing velocity in the processing direction that is greater than the material flow velocity.

Backward extrusion process for inner profiles

A method for manufacturing hollow shafts having end portions of greater wall thickness and at least one intermediate portion of reduced wall thickness, from a tube having constant wall thickness. The method includes providing a mandrel having diameters stepped over its length, with a first longitudinal section having a smallest diameter and at least one further longitudinal section having a further larger diameter. Reducing the external diameter of a first portion of the tube over the first longitudinal section of the mandrel to produce the first end portion. Reducing the external diameter of a middle portion of the tube over the at least one further longitudinal section of the mandrel to produce the at least one intermediate portion. Reducing the external diameter of a further portion of the tube over the first longitudinal section of the mandrel to produce the second end portion.
