An apparatus of a wireless device can include baseband processing circuitry configured to generate a digitized downconverted signal based on a received radio frequency (RF) signal. The apparatus can also include estimation circuitry configured to detect a blocker signal in the downconverted signal, the blocker signal having power that exceeds a pre-determined threshold, and map the detected blocker signal to a plurality of harmonic frequencies associated with two or more carrier frequencies. The apparatus can include reference signal generation circuitry configured to generate a reference signal based on the plurality of harmonic frequencies and the received RF signal. The apparatus can include cancellation circuitry configured to apply a pre-processed reference signal (based on the reference signal) to the digitized downconverted signal to remove distortion associated with the detected blocker signal. The digitized downconverted signal is a baseband signal or an intermediate frequency (IF) signal.

A method includes estimating a transmit leakage signal for a duplexer, where the duplexer is included in a transceiver that includes a transmit chain and a receive chain; squaring an envelope of the estimated transmit leakage signal; generating a replica signal based at least on the squared envelope of the estimated transmit leakage signal; and subtracting the replica signal from a total received signal in the receive chain to generate a wanted received baseband signal.

The plurality of oscillator signals further comprises a second oscillator signal with a second local oscillator frequency. The device () further comprises a plurality of subsequent mixers. A first mixer () is configured to mix the multi-carrier receive signal with the first oscillator signal to output a first mixed signal. A second mixer () is configured to mix a second mixed signal with the second oscillator signal to output the auxiliary interference signal.

A transceiver includes local oscillator (LO) signal circuitry configured to output an LO signal having an LO frequency and mixer circuitry configured to input the LO signal and an information signal that encodes communication data and output a shifted signal that corresponds to the information signal shifted to a desired frequency. The LO signal circuitry includes selection circuitry and generation circuitry. The selection circuitry is configured to select a pulse pattern and a gap duration based at least on a target harmonic of the LO frequency to be suppressed. The pulse pattern includes at least two pulses spaced apart by a gap having the gap duration. The generation circuitry is configured to generate an LO signal characterized by the selected pulse pattern and gap duration.

Harmonic suppressing local oscillator signal generation

Pulse generation circuitry includes edge generation circuitry and edge combination circuitry. The edge generation circuitry includes a first digital-to-time converter (DTC) configured to input a first phase signal that includes a first phase edge and a second phase signal that includes a second phase edge. The edge generation circuitry is configured to generate a first pulse edge signal comprising a first pulse edge at a selected location between the first phase edge and the second phase edge. The edge combination circuitry is configured to combine the first pulse edge signal and a second pulse edge signal including a second pulse edge to generate a pulse signal.
