A pedal drive system, in particular for an electric vehicle or a training apparatus, and for generating electrical power from muscle power of a user with at least one pedal and an electric generator, connected mechanically with said at least one pedal, is provided. To improve the haptic feel and feedback at the pedal, a control unit is provided for controlling a feedback torque, applied at said pedal, wherein the control unit comprises a haptic renderer, configured for control of said feedback torque based on at least one user-defined pedal reference trajectory.

Pedal drive system

A pedal drive system, in particular for an electric vehicle or a training apparatus, and for generating electrical power from muscle power of a user with at least one pedal and an electric generator, connected mechanically with said at least one pedal, is provided. Adjusting device for an electric motor

The invention relates to a converter system (&#x2033;) for an electric vehicle and in particular a lightweight electric vehicle. The converter system (&#x2033;) has a supporting housing (&#x2033;) for connecting to the vehicle, has an electromechanical energy converter arranged at least partially in the supporting housing (&#x2033;), said electromechanical energy converter having at least one stator (') and a rotor (&#x2032;) which is rotatable relative to the stator (&#x2032;) about a drive axis (), and has a power transmitting device which connects the rotor (&#x2032;) to a connection element. To permit a particularly cheap design which is easy to maintain and to reduce thermal problems, the supporting housing () has at least one first () and one second axial portion (). wherein (the first portion () has a greater diameter than the second portion () in a direction transversely with respect lo the drive axis (). Here, the second portion () of the supporting housing () is formed for mourning the rotor () and/or the connection element. The rotor () and stator () of the energy converter are arranged at least partially in the first portion () of the supporting housing ().

Electromechanical converter system for an electric vehicle with enhanced cooling

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for processing a workpiece, such as a wall, a ceiling, a floor or the like in a building, by means of an appliance which can be moved, in particular an electric tool, wherein the appliance can be moved to at least one predeterminable nominal position. Essentially continuous position identification, in particular by means of optical methods, is carried out for the respective actual position of the appliance and/or of an object which can be moved corresponding to the appliance. The position information, such as the coordinates of the respective determined actual position and/or information relating to any, discrepancy between the nominal position and the actual position, is transmitted wirelessly to the appliance. The respective position information is indicated to the user on the appliance, for manual position control.

Processing method using an electric tool

An electric drive system () operated by muscle power for a vehicle () includes a foot pedal () and a mechanical generator () mechanically connected to the foot pedal. The drive system also includes an electric transmission () and an electric control system () with a control program () of the generator, which is able to generate a counter or load moment (GM). The drive system also includes a starting control system () for the generator, by means of which a standstill pedal resistance (TW) and a high starting moment (MA) is produced at the foot pedal. When used in a stationary training apparatus (), the drive system includes a motor operation control system () with a bi-directional converter (), by means of which the generator is also able to be operated as a motor.
