The present disclosure describes a container that includes a body having a lower surface, an upper rim, and a plurality of side walls that extend between the lower surface and the upper rim, wherein the upper rim defines an opening to an interior space of the body, a flexible cover that covers the opening of the body and is bonded to the body along the upper rim, and gas-permeable material through which gas can enter and exit the interior space of the body. The upper rim of the body is spaced apart from any of the gas-permeable material, such that the cover can be peeled away from the upper rim to expose the opening while leaving the gas-permeable material intact.

The invention relates to a safety device, for avoiding stab wounds, for a syringe with a syringe body and with a puncturing means arranged at the distal end of the syringe body, said safety device comprising a sleeve element which extends along an axial direction (X) and at least partially encloses the puncturing means and the syringe body, wherein the sleeve element comprises, at its distal end, a contact portion which at least partially contacts the skin of a patient during use of the syringe and which delimits an opening surface. The safety device is characterized in that the opening surface has at least in part a sub-area that encloses an angle &#x3b1; with the axial direction (X), wherein the angle &#x3b1; is in a range of between 10&#xb0; and 80&#xb0;.

Safety device for a syringe

The invention relates to a safety device for a syringe for avoiding stab wounds, said syringe to having a syringe body and a piercing means arranged on the distal end of the syringe body. The safety device comprises a sleeve element () that extends along an axial direction (X) and encloses at least partly the piercing means and the syringe body, said sleeve element being rotatably mounted on a distal end region of the syringe body. The safety device is characterized by comprising a contact element () which contacts the skin of a patient when the syringe is used, said contact element being arranged on the distal end of the sleeve element and being rotatable independent of the sleeve element.

Multi-part safety device for a syringe

The invention relates to a safety device for avoiding stabbing injuries, for a syringe having a syringe body and a piercing means arranged on the distal end of said syringe body. The safety device comprises a sleeve element that extends in an axial direction (X) and encloses at least partly the piercing means and the syringe body, and a collar element that is arranged on a distal end region of the syringe body and locks the safety device in the axial direction (X), said collar element having at least one guide projection which is guided in at least one guide track of the sleeve element during a movement of the syringe body relative to the sleeve element substantially in the axial direction. The safety device is characterised in that the collar element is arranged on the distal end region of the syringe body so as to be rotatable in a circumferential direction (U) and has at least one tolerance compensating element which is in operative contact, mechanically, with the syringe body so that tolerances of the syringe body can be compensated for.

A lancing device for collecting body fluid samples with a body at the end of which an endcap is arranged. The endcap has a positioning surface with an outlet opening. The device further comprises a socket to receive at least one lancet, which is interchangeably clamped in the body, a clamping device, and a release mechanism, with which the lancet is clamped inside the body. The lancing procedure is initiated with the tip of the lancet emerging through the outlet opening. An ejection device is used to eject a used lancet. The endcap is functionally coupled with the ejection device in such a way that, when the ejection device is actuated, the endcap is held pivotably on the body so that it can swing out of the path of the lancet.
