A casting device and casting method are provided for producing components, in particular cylinder heads. The device includes a reusable steel upper core, which can be lifted off from the component to be produced and which has a movable displacing element. The displacement element can be pressed into the component to be produced for dense feeding. In a method for producing a cylinder head by casting, wherein the steel upper core is used as a substitution for a sand cover core, for dense feeding the displacing element is pressed into the melt that forms the cylinder head in the solidified state.

Casting device and casting method

A processing system and method for processing a cast raw casting has a spray system for cooling the raw casting. The spray system has at least one nozzle device for at least temporally, locally, or quantitatively variable application of a free-flowing medium to at least one section of the raw casting. The processing system also has a temperature measuring device for measuring the temperature on at least one section of the raw casting and a monitoring device for controlling and adjusting the nozzle device as a function of the measured temperature.

The present invention relates to a supporting element for a housing for a vehicle traction battery, the vehicle traction battery being constructed of a number of power storage modules. The supporting element is constructed of a module supporting element and at least one closing element, which has a plate-shaped design, the module supporting element having a number of module fastening elements, to which the number of power storage modules are fastened. Furthermore, the module supporting element has at least one recess which is closed by the plate-shaped closing element. The present invention further relates to a process of producing a corresponding support element for a housing for a vehicle traction battery.
