A local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography system is provided. The local coil has a plate-shaped local coil body with a main extension plane, and an electronic apparatus within the local coil body. A wireless local coil generates waste heat. Therefore, the local coil has an electrically non-conducting heat sink body that is connected for the conduction of heat to the electronic apparatus, and is configured as a type of plate within the local coil body in order to distribute heat of the electronic apparatus in the main extension plane of the local coil body. This provides that a surface of the local coil has a standards-compliant temperature.

Local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography system and a magnetic resonance tomography system

A device for generating wideband signals in a local coil and a magnetic resonance tomography system with the device are provided. The device has a first analog-digital converter for digitizing a magnetic resonance signal, a signal conditioner, a pulse filter, and a transmit antenna. The signal conditioner is configured to increase a harmonic component in an output signal of the first analog-digital converter, and the pulse filter is configured to restrict an output signal of the signal conditioner to a predetermined frequency band before the output signal of the signal conditioner is emitted via the transmit antenna. The receiver is configured to receive and digitize the signal via a receive antenna, and regain a digital representation of the magnetic resonance signal by a signal processor.

The disclosure relates to a local coil with an energy supply device, a system including an energy transmitting device and a local coil, and a method for operating the system. The local coil includes an energy store, a clock control system, and an energy receiving device for the wireless reception of energy from the energy transmitting device. The clock control system of the local coil is configured to be synchronized with an external clock source. The clock control system has a signal connection with the energy supply device and is configured to control energy take-up via the energy receiving device in dependence on the synchronization.

The receiving antenna receives an analog magnetic resonance signal in a first signal frequency range, wherein the analog magnetic resonance signal is converted into a digital magnetic resonance signal by the signal converter and is frequency-shifted such that the digital magnetic resonance signal is shifted into a second signal frequency range that does not overlap with, and is preferably higher than, the first signal frequency range.

An MR device includes at least one body coil for generating a B1 magnetic field and at least one radiofrequency line routed through the B1 magnetic field. The at least one radiofrequency line has at least one frequency filter for blocking a voltage induced by the B1 magnetic field. At least one section of the radiofrequency line routed through the B1 magnetic field is embodied in printed circuit board technology on at least one printed circuit board, and information-carrying signals may be transmitted over the at least one radiofrequency line on a different frequency than the frequency of the voltage induced by the B1 magnetic field.

An arrangement includes a superconducting split ring resonator, a cryostat, and a copper coil. The resonator is arranged in the cryostat and includes at least one ring-shaped conductor made of a superconducting material and including an opening and a taper. The copper coil may be used to transmit a MRI excitation signal. This signal causes a current to be induced in the conductor that leads to the breakdown of the superconductivity. The conductor is detuned and therefore no longer develops an interfering effect. It is possible for the effect of the breakdown of superconductivity to be used for detuning in a targeted manner. After the transmission is complete, the conductor returns into the superconducting state and acts as a superconducting reception antenna for the MRI measurement signal. The copper coil is inductively coupled to the conductor and configured to read out the signal induced in the conductor.

An apparatus for checking for a presence of an electrically conductive body has at least one transmitting device and at least one receiving device. The transmitting device provides a transmission signal in the form of a magnetic field. The transmitting and receiving devices are configured in such a way that, when the electrically conductive body is absent, partial reception signals form in the receiving device on account of the induced transmission signal and the partial reception signals substantially cancel one another out in the reception signal.
