A method for determining a charging profile from a large number of charging profiles for a current charging process for charging an electrical energy store includes determining a current state of the energy store, determining the charging profile from the large number of charging profiles based on the current state of the energy store, and charging the energy store based on the determined charging profile.

System and method for determining charging profiles

A device and method for increasing the range of an electric vehicle. A control unit estimates a remaining range of the high-voltage battery based on a state-of-charge of the high-voltage battery. The remaining range is displayed on a display. If the control unit determines, during driving in the normal mode, that the remaining range results from an estimation error that over-estimates the remaining range, then without correcting the remaining range displayed, the control unit automatically switches the electric vehicle from a normal mode to an emergency mode in which a cell voltage below a first cell voltage limit is useable by the electric motor. The cell voltage below the first cell voltage limit is not useable by the electric vehicle in the normal mode. The first cell voltage limit is associated with a lower state-of-charge limit at which the remaining range is displayed as a no-remaining-range indicator.

Device and method for increasing the range of an electric vehicle

A method for estimating the usable charge capacity of an electrical energy store includes determining a nominal initial charge capacity and a maximum initial estimation error of a new or slightly degraded energy store; determining one or more nominal charge capacities and one or more maximum estimation errors for the degraded energy store; interpolating a graph for the nominal charge capacity and for the maximum lower and upper estimation errors between the interpolation points of the nominal charge capacity and the interpolation points of the maximum estimation errors; and estimating a nominal charge state, a current usable charge capacity with a lower estimation reserve, and a current usable charge capacity with an upper estimation reserve for a current degradation state of the electrical energy store.

Method and device for estimating the usable charge capacity of an electrical energy store

An electrified motor vehicle includes a display unit for displaying at least one residual range, a high-voltage accumulator, and at least one electronic control unit which determines an expected minimum range on the basis of the state of charge of the high-voltage accumulator and which determines, on the basis of the temperature of the high-voltage accumulator and the state of charge of the high-voltage accumulator, a temperature-dependent bonus range which is displayed instead of the minimum range if the minimum range has dropped to zero.
