In one aspect, a computer-implemented method for recommending an optimal configuration for a target system is provided. The method includes obtaining a plurality of samples, wherein each sample corresponds to a system configuration. The method includes extracting, from each of the plurality of samples, a plurality of features. The method includes grouping the plurality of samples into one or more clusters, wherein each cluster comprises a set of one or more samples. The method includes calculating, for each respective cluster of the one or more clusters, one or more metrics for each extracted feature based on the set of one or more samples in the respective cluster. The method includes calculating, for each respective cluster of the one or more clusters, a weight for each extracted feature based on the calculated one or more metrics for each extracted feature. The method includes obtaining a set of one or more requirements for a target system. The method includes determining an optimal configuration for the target system based on the calculated weights for each cluster and the set of one or more requirements.

Method for implementing radio topology recommender systems

A method for beam assignment support comprises obtaining of, in a radio base station, a set of channel gain estimations representing potential transmissions in a set of beams to a user equipment. A set of bias values is obtained, representing connection quality predictions for a respective beam of the set of beams for transmission to the user equipment. The connection quality predictions are estimations calculated from measures of previous traffic load, previous radio quality of transmissions, and/or previous beam assignments of the first transmission reception point. A set of biased channel gain estimations is determined by weighting the channel gain estimations in dependence of respective bias values. A beam assignment based on the biased channel gain estimations is initiated. A method also for determining bias values in a network node as well as radio base stations.

Method and arrangement for beam assignment support

A method for enabling scheduling of processes in a processing system having at least one processor and associated hardware resources, at least one of the hardware resources being shared by at least two of the processes. The method is characterized by controlling execution of a process based on a usage bound of the number of allowable accesses, by the process, to a shared hardware resource by halting execution of the process when the number of allowable accesses has been reached, and enabling idle mode or start of execution of a next process. In this way, costly hardware overprovisioning and/or the need for shutting down processor cores can be avoided. By controlling execution of a process based on a usage bound of the number of allowable accesses to a shared hardware resource, instead of simply dividing CPU time between processes, highly efficient shared-resource-based process scheduling can be achieved.

Process scheduling

The present invention relates to a method and system for enabling a redistribution of load between cells. The method comprises obtaining a current load value for a first cell, and obtaining a target load value for a neighbor cell. The method also comprises determining the target load value for the first cell as a function of the current load value and the target load value for the neighbor cell, obtaining an update of the target load value for the neighbor cell, and iterating the determining and the obtaining. The method further comprises taking action for a redistribution of load between the first cell and the neighbor cell towards a load distribution represented by the resulting load values.
