The present invention relates to Melamine based Mannich compounds of the general formulae (1)-(12) and a process for synthesizing melamine based Mannich-products comprising the steps of a) reacting at least one substituted melamine with at least one aldehyde, in particular formaldehyde, under basic conditions to form at least one OH-containing compound, b) reacting the at least one OH-containing compound in the presence of a catalyst to form at least one mannich-base, c1) reacting the at least one mannich-base with at least one enol-forming carbonyl compound, or c2) reacting the at least one mannich-base with at least one aromatic compound, and d) working up the reaction mixture. The invention relates further to precondensates obtainable from these products.

Melamine based mannich-compounds and a process for obtaining the same

The invention relates to melamine-formaldehyde condensates with thermoplastic properties that can be produced from formaldehyde and melamine derivatives, wherein at least one of the melamine derivatives organic radicals R have been used to substitute at least four of the total of six hydrogen atoms of the three melamine amino groups, and wherein the organic radicals R are mutually identical or different. The invention also relates to a process for production of the melamine-formaldehyde condensates, use thereof, and an analytical method for determining the constitution of the melamine-formaldehyde condensates.

Polyurethane-urea compositions are described, and, in particular, elastic polyurethane-urea fibers are described which result therefrom and which contain a dialkylsulphosuccinate as a finely dispersed or dissolved additive which considerably increases the strength of the fibers. Moreover, a method is described of producing polyurethane-urea fibers using a dialkylsulphosuccinate as an additive.
