A thermoelectric module includes a cold side, a hot side and thermoelectric elements disposed between the two sides. At least one heat conducting layer is disposed between the thermoelectric elements and at least the cold side or the hot side and the heat conducting layer can be compressed. A method for producing a thermoelectric module having at least one heat conducting layer is also provided.

A thermoelectric module includes an inner circumferential surface, an axis and an outer circumferential surface. A plurality of semiconductor elements is disposed with thermoelectric material in the direction of the axis and between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface and are electrically interconnected in an alternating manner. At least one part of the semiconductor elements has at least one inner frame part or an outer frame part. At least some of the inner frame parts form an interrupted inner circumferential surface or outer frame parts form an interrupted outer circumferential surface.

A device for exhaust gas heat utilization in internal combustion engines of motor vehicles includes an exhaust gas line which in sections includes a first exhaust gas flow duct and a second exhaust gas flow duct connected in parallel. A valve flap is movable between a closed position and an open position, which can selectively close or at least partly clear a flow cross-section of the first or second exhaust gas flow duct. At least one thermoelectric generator module is thermally coupled with the second exhaust gas flow duct and with a cooling circuit. The device also includes an expansion material actuator for temperature-dependent actuation of the valve flap.

An exhaust gas routing device for an internal-combustion engine having a thermoelectric generator is fluidically connected with an exhaust gas line and a pipe guiding a coolant. The generator has a plurality of thermoelectric yoke pairs which are arranged between a first surface heated by the exhaust gas and a second surface cooled by the coolant. The exhaust gas routing device has a device guiding the exhaust gas along the first surface at a flow velocity that increases in the flow direction of the exhaust gas.

Exhaust gas routing device for an internal combustion engine having a thermoelectrical generator

A vehicle has a heat-emitting component and a thermoelectric generator, which has a heat-absorbing component thermally coupled with the heat-emitting component, and which generates electric energy from the temperature gradient between the heat-absorbing element and a heat sink. The thermoelectric generator is arranged directly on the heat-emitting component and is connected thereto in a thermally conductive manner.
