The invention discloses a probe for detecting changes of a medium in a container, comprising: a process connection for connecting the probe to the container, wherein the process connection is part of a housing, especially, an integral part of a housing; the housing comprising at least one microwave chip for generating microwaves, which chip is connected to at least one antenna, wherein the antenna transmits and receives the microwaves in the direction of the medium; an interface for connecting the probe to a higher-level unit; and a data processing unit which is designed to receive data, especially, measurement data, from the higher-level unit via the interface and to transmit data to the higher-level unit, to activate the microwave chip, and to process signals that are dependent on the received microwaves.

Probe for phase transition detection

In a conductive conductivity sensor having a probe, which is immersible in a measured medium and which comprises at least two electrodes made of a first, electrically conductive material and at least one probe body made of a second, electrically non-conductive material, the electrodes are at least partially embedded in the probe body and insulated from one another by the probe body, wherein the electrodes and the probe body are embodied as a composite workpiece. There especially exists between the first material and the second material in at least one section of a material transition between the first and the second material a secure bond, especially a bond based on intermolecular interactions or chemical bonds.

A conductivity sensor for measuring conductivity of a medium surrounding the conductivity sensor, including: a first toroidal coil, which surrounds a first traversing opening for accommodating the medium and which serves for inducing an electrical current in the medium, a second toroidal coil, which surrounds a second traversing opening for accommodating the medium and which serves for registering a magnetic field produced by the induced electrical current. Inductive conductivity sensor

An inductively working sensor for determining the conductivity of a liquid medium. The sensor includes: at least one transmitting circuit, which is designed to deliver an input signal for a transmitting coil, in order to produce in the transmitting coil an alternating electromagnetic field, which causes a ring-shaped electrical current in the liquid medium; at least one receiving circuit, which is designed to evaluate a received signal produced by the ring-shaped electrical current in a receiving coil; a first coil; a second coil, which is arranged at a distance from the first coil; a switching means for switching between a first switch state and a second switch state, wherein, in the first switch state, the first coil, serving as transmitting coil, is coupled with one of the transmitting circuits; and the second coil, serving as receiving coil, is coupled with one of the receiving circuits, and wherein, in the second switch state, the second coil, serving as transmitting coil, is coupled with one of the transmitting circuits, and the first coil, serving as receiving coil, is coupled with one of the receiving circuits.

An inductive conductivity measurement cell of the invention includes: sending coil, a receiving coil, and a coil support body having an annular, sending coil chamber and an annular, receiving coil chamber, wherein there extends through the coil support body at least one section of a closed media path, which passes through the sending coil chamber and through the receiving coil chamber, characterized in that the coil support body has first connection bores, which extend from a surface of the coil support body to the sending coil chamber and through which the connection lines of the sending coil extend, and second connection bores, which extend from a surface of the coil support body to the receiving coil chamber and through which the connection lines of the receiving coil extend. The connection lines of the sending coil in the first connection bores are shielded from the connection lines of the receiving coil in the second connection bores by the coil support body.

Inductive conductivity measurement cell

A method for operating an inductive conductivity-measuring cell having a primary circuit with a sending coil, a secondary circuit with a receiver coil, and a short-circuit path, which passes through the sending coil and the receiver coil. The sending coil couples via the short-circuit path inductively with the receiver coil, wherein, in the case of closed short-circuit path, a first electrical signal present in the primary circuit is measured, and wherein the first signal is compared with, and/or weighed against, values, which are furnished or stored.

At least one of the toroidal coils has a plurality of first conductor segments, which extend in a plane of a multi-ply circuit board, a plurality of second conductor segments, which extend in a second plane of the circuit board, and a plurality of through-contacts, which connect the first conductor segments with the second conductor segments, wherein the first conductor segments, the second conductor segments and the through-contacts form, together, the windings of a toroidal coil.
