Described is a measuring device, in particular for measuring the pH value in foodstuffs. The measuring device comprises an extended first electrode for plunging into a material to be measured and a sheath which at least partially surrounds the first electrode. The first electrode is pivotably mounted in order to prevent breakage as a result of transversal loads exerted perpendicularly to the axial direction of the electrode.

The invention relates to a measuring device having a penetrating electrode. Said elongated electrode of the measuring device is movably mounted in axial direction thereof. In case of a load or a shock, it can absorb said load to a given degree in the housing of said measuring device. The lens is arranged with respect to the IR detector such that it focuses IR radiation from a measuring surface to the detector. The light source emits visible light for marking the measuring surface. The beam path of the visible light extends through the lens. Moreover, the invention relates to a sighting device for a radiometer for visibly marking a measuring surface the temperature of which is measured by the radiometer. The sighting device comprises a light source for emitting a visible light beam, which marks the measuring surface. A piezoactuator controls the direction of the light beam. As an alternative to the piezoactuator, the light beam may be guided at a constant angular velocity, and a stepwise change of the direction of the light beam may be accomplished by a sectorized mirror. The invention finally relates to corresponding methods. In addition, the invention relates to the adjustment of light sources in a sighting device.

A method for producing a pH measuring probe includes: providing an electrode wire protruding out of both sides of a recording device, the electrode wire being fixed to the recording device with the first end thereof, placing a glass tube over a second end of the electrode wire until reaching a cavity of the recording device, the glass tube and the recording device being fixed together; providing another electrode wire protruding from both sides of a base plate including a recess for the recording device, the other electrode wire being fixed to the base plate with its end protruding; providing a casing comprising first and second openings, the casing and base plate being sealed together, forming the housing; and guiding the glass tube through the recess in the base plate until it protrudes out of an opening in the casing and the recording device is inserted into the base plate.

The invention relates to a multilayer printing material () for a printing group () of a printer, comprising a support layer () and at least one printable layer (), self-adhesive on one face, that rests with its self-adhesive face () on a contact area of the support layer () in an adhesive manner. Said layer can be detached from the contact area and has at least one printable face (). At least one break point () is provided on the support layer () and is adapted to substantially compensate for any differences in length caused by the difference in length of the support layer () relative to the printable layer () when the printing material () passes through the printing group (). Multilayer printing material and the use thereof

The invention relates to a module for measuring purposes comprising an electrical or electronic circuit, which has at least one power supply connection and at least one data line connection for connecting, in the manner of a bus, to at least one other module of the same type that is also used for measuring purposes. According to the invention, the electronic circuit () is arranged inside a housing, the housing has a first contact surface () and a second contact surface (), and the first contact surface () is joined to the second contact surface () of the other module () in a manner that permits it to be mechanically detached.
