A ventilation drive () for an anesthesia device and a method for operating such a ventilation drive () are provided. The ventilation drive includes a blower unit (), a pressure chamber () and a flexible bag () located in the pressure chamber (). An internal volume of the bag () is coupled to an inspiratory branch () of a ventilation line. The blower unit () can be coupled to the internal volume of an outlet side and to an air inlet () for feeding ambient air on an inlet side. Further, a flow sensor () is provided between the outlet side of the blower unit () and the pressure chamber ().

A medical measuring device (), as well as to a ventilator (), as well as to a method for operating a medical measuring device () or a ventilator are provided. The medical measuring device () includes a sensor system () and measuring, signal processing and calculating device (), to detect an inspiratory measured variable, which represents an indicator for the transport of breathing gases into the lungs of a patient (), and an expiratory measured variable, which represents an indicator for the transport of breathing gases out of the lungs of a patient (), and to determine an indicator for a ventilation-related shifting of secretion from the expiratory measured variable and the inspiratory measured variable.

Medical measuring device, ventilator and method for operating a medical measuring device or for operating a ventilator

A respirator or anesthesia apparatus for the artificial respiration of a patient is provided with a gas delivery device, at least one gas line for forming a breathing air line system, at least one device for measuring a volume flow of a gas according to the differential pressure method with a flow channel, a first pressure-measuring point and a second pressure-measuring point. The second pressure-measuring point is arranged in the direction of flow of the gas to be measured after the first pressure-measuring point at the flow channel. Furthermore, the flow channel is split into at least two separate partial flow channels in the direction of flow of the gas to be measured between the first pressure-measuring point and the second pressure-measuring point.

Respirator flow sensor

A respirator or anesthesia apparatus, for the artificial respiration of a patient, has a gas delivery device, at least one gas line for forming a breathing air line system, at least one gas mixing means with a mixed gas tank and at least two inlet openings with a shut-off member each for separately feeding at least two different gases to be mixed into the mixed gas tank and for subsequently feeding the mixed gas into the breathing air line system. The mixed gas tank is provided with at least two separate outlet openings for releasing the mixed gas from the mixed gas tank and for subsequently feeding it into the breathing air line system.

Respirator

A device for supplying a respirator with breathing gas is designed in a modular design. To accomplish the object, a cover plate (), a distributor plate () and a half shell body () are provided in a sandwich-like design, wherein said distributor plate () has walls () projecting on both sides, which are connected to the cover plate () and to the half shell body () and define gas ducts () as well as a buffer volume ().
