An arrangement for simultaneously sealing a door window pane (12) and the roof area (35) on a door of a motor vehicle, having a single-piece profile (A) of elastomer material with a fastening section (1) which slips on to the door flange (10), a sealing section (3) for the door window pane (12) and a sealing element (2) for the area between the upper edge of the door and the roof (35). For the purpose of providing a complete solution for the supply and mounting of this arrangement as a single piece, provision is made, according to the invention, that the entire outer face of the U-shaped fastening section (1), which slips on to a projecting door flange (10), is covered by an aluminium strip (3) which has two webs (16, 17) which project vertically inwards and run parallel to the projecting door flange (10) and clip into two parallel outwardly open slots (18, 19) in the arms (5, 6) of the U-shaped fastening section (1).

Power-operated closing devices, particularly electrically operated windows and sunroofs of motor vehicles, have two electrical conductors being spaced apart from each other for disengaging a switching process of a drive unit when brought into contact. For the purposes of simple manufacture and reliable contact-making, a trapping protector is provided, which includes a flexible hollow profile made of an elastomer or plastic material having a flat base area and a mounted arched profile area enclosing a hollow chamber. The base area and a zenith area of the arched profile area include conductive material and are separated from each other by insulating profile areas.

A retractable folding top for motor vehicles, having a top frame which comprises a material retaining hoop forming the lower termination of the top, and a top storage box for accommodating the folded top. The top storage box can be closed by a top storage box lid, following which it is held shut by a closure. The top has a position of rest of the material retaining hoop on the top storage box lid when the top is closed, in which the material retaining hoop is noncontinuously connected to the top storage box lid via a closure arrangement. To simplify operation, the closure arrangement between the material retaining hoop and the top storage box lid has only a single closure which is arranged in the central region of the overlap zone between the top storage box lid and the material retaining hoop.

A manually operable folding top for vehicles has a folded stowed position of the open top in a folding-top compartment covered by a folding-top compartment lid. In an unfolded use position of the closed top, the folding-top covering is stretched between a roof cap on the front end of the top and a fabric-holding hoop at the rear end of the top, A closure arrangement which can be unlocked, remote-controllably from the interior of the vehicle, comprises a plurality of closures, via which the folding-top compartment lid is held closed and the fabric-holding hoop is held down in the position in which it rests on the folding-top compartment lid. In order to obtain greater constructional freedom in the selection of the operating point, the closure arrangement has only automatic-ejection snap-action closures, each of which can be released via a motorized actuating drive. The actuating drives are activated via the actuation of a switch arrangement in order to release the closures.

Manually operable folding top for vehicles using automatic-ejection

A fastening arrangement for a movable part especially a folding top or a roof of a motor vehicle. The arrangement includes a rotary latch which serves for securing a fastening pin of the movable part and is rotatable by means of an actuating device for a blocking and release of the fastening pin which can be retained by means of a detent pawl. In the locked position of the fastening, the detent pawl rests in an undercut principal notch of the rotary latch. High frictional forces and disturbing noises therefore are avoided during the unlocking operation. The rotary latch is rotatable through a specific angle oppositely to the blocking direction of the detent pawl by means of a control device activatable by the actuating device.
