A process for producing grain-oriented electrical steel strip by means of thin slab continuous casting and which includes continuously casting the smelt by thin slab continuous casting, subjecting the thin slabs to homogenization annealing at a maximum temperature of 1250&#xb0; C. and heating to a temperature between 1350&#xb0; C. and 1380&#xb0; C., and continuously hot rolling the thin slabs to form a hot-rolled strip, with cooling and reeling the hot-rolled strip to form a coil and cold rolling the hot-rolled strip to a nominal thickness, with subjecting the cold-rolled strip to recrystallization, decarburization and nitridation annealing, which includes a decarburization annealing phase and a subsequent nitridation annealing phase, with an intermediate reduction annealing phase being interposed between the decarburization annealing phase and the nitridation annealing phase, whereby a cold-rolled strip is obtained, which primary recrystallized grains have a circle equivalent mean size (diameter) between 22 &#x3bc;m and 25 &#x3bc;m.

Process for producing grain-oriented electrical steel strip

The present invention relates to stable compositions for the fungicidal equipment of thermoplastic polymers, in particular PVC, comprising thiabendazole, at least one iodine-containing fungicide and at least one epoxide and optionally further fungicidally active compounds, and also to methods for preparing these formulations and to uses thereof for the protection of thermoplastic polymers against attack and destruction by microorganisms. Moreover, the invention relates to mold-resistant PVC materials equipped with the compositions according to the invention.

Stable compositions of thiabendazole and iodine-containing fungicides

The invention relates to the production of nitrogen containing polymers from aziridines, to the use of these nitrogen containing polymers for stabilizing iodine containing compounds, to compositions comprising at least the nitrogen containing polymers and also iodine containing compounds, and to the use of these compositions as biocides and/or for controlling microorganisms.

Stabilization of compounds containing iodine having polymers comprising nitrogen

The invention relates to stable compositions for providing PVC with fungicidal properties. Said stable compositions contain at least one thiabendazole as an active substance, at least one plasticizer for PVC, at least one thixotropic agent, and, optionally, other fungicidal agents. The invention also relates to methods for producing said formulations and the uses thereof for preventing PVC from being infested and destroyed by microorganisms. The invention further relates to mildew-resistant PVC materials provided with the compositions of the invention.

Fungicide formulations for plasticized PVC

The ethylenically unsaturated organic compounds are of the general formula ##STR1## where R is alkyl, aryl or a radical R.sup.1, and R.sup.1 is a radical ##STR2## where R.sup.2 to R.sup.6 are each H, alkyl, OH, Oalkyl, SH, Salkyl, halogen, N(alkyl).sub.2 or N(alkyl)(aryl), and not less than one but not more than three of the radicals R.sup.2 to R.sup.6 are each a radical ##STR3## where X is alkylene or oxaalkylene, each of 2 to 10 carbon atoms, and Y is H or CH.sub.3. These compounds have particularly high photochemical reactivity in the medium-wavelength to relatively long-wavelength UV range.
