The invention relates to an apparatus () for the applying of and removal by suction of operating fluids onto rolling stock () and off rolling stock () in the inlet () of cold rolling systems () and comprises at least one spray device () arranged above or below a rolling stock transport line (), wherein at least one operating fluid can be placed by the spray device () onto a surface of the rolling stock () or onto a surface of a working roll () which makes contact with the rolling stock (), and to at least one suction removal device () which can be arranged above or below the rolling stock transport line () and on the same side of the rolling stock transport line () as the spray device (), wherein the suction removal device () acts in the vicinity of the surface of the rolling stock () or of the working roll (). The spray device () and the suction removal device () are attached onto a common component frame () and therefore form a compact unit ().

The invention relates to a measuring device, a roll stand and a method for detecting the height of a roll gap between two working rolls in the roll stand. In order to ensure a high level of measurement accuracy of the roll gap transmitter even in the case of horizontal displacement of the working rolls in or against the rolling direction it is proposed in accordance with the invention to carry out adjusting the movement of the roll gap transmitter () with respect to the working rolls in the case of a displacement in or against the rolling direction so that even in a new or displaced end position of the working rolls a suitable relative position, which is required for a high level of measurement accuracy, between roll gap transmitter and the working rolls is guaranteed.

Measuring device, roll stand and method of detecting the height of a roll gap

The invention pertains to a rolling device () with at least two rolls that are respectively supported in a roll stand () by means of chocks (), wherein the rolls are provided with axial displacement means () that serve for the axial displacement in a displacing direction (x) and make it possible to move the rolls into a desired position relative to the roll stand (), as well as to hold the rolls in this position, and wherein the rolls are functionally connected to bending means () that make it possible to subject the rolls to a bending moment. In order to maintain the bending force losses caused by the weight of the axial displacement means at a minimum, the invention proposes that a first functional end () of the axial displacement means () is arranged on the roll stand () directly or indirectly by means of an articulated connection () and a second functional end () of the axial displacement means is arranged on the chock () by means of an articulated connection ().

Roller device

A guiding device for the chocks of work rolls of a rolling stand comprising guides arranged fixedly or horizontally movably on the inner sides of the windows of the rolling stand, wherein the upper and lower bending blocks of each side are respectively assigned two guides arranged parallel to each other. Each bending block is assigned one of the guides, while it has a recess for the parallel running guide that extends around said guide, wherein the upper bending block is guided on one of the parallel guides and the lower bending block is guided on the other guide.

Guiding device for the chocks of work rolls

The invention relates to a device for adapting working rolls, in particular of four-high stands, to a rolling line with at least one pair of wedges (') in a region between parallel, spaced from each other, rolling mill stands (&#x2032;), which are displaceable along a horizontal slideway relative to the stands (&#x2032;) by toggle lever adjusting means. To this end, the wedges (&#x2032;) of the wedge pair are connected with each other at a fixed distance from each other, and for their displacement an arrangement of two toggle levers () is provided of which one lever () is supported on one wedge () with at least one articulated joint () and another lever () is supported on an opposite stand (&#x2032;) also with at least one articulated joint, and both levers () are connected with each other by a longitudinally adjustable toggle joint ().

Device for adapting working rolls to a rolling line

A device for changing pairs of work rolls and/or pairs of backup rolls of roll stands, wherein the rolls are each supported in chocks and are movable out or in by a lower back up roll supported on a track and wheels. The work rolls on the drive side of the roll stand can be coupled to a hydraulic piston-cylinder actuator that is dimensioned in is stroke length for the removal or installation distance and can be uncoupled when it has been withdrawn by the required distance. A roll changing frame can be coupled to the actuator and, when the upper backup roll and the roll changing frame are supported on the lower backup roll, the pair of backup rolls can be moved out or back in. The actuator is coupled to a pusher with connecting arms aligned with ends of the rolls. The actuator is arranged on the drive side of the roll stand and is coupled to the pusher through a piston rod.
